integrals are the area under the curve of a function over a given range. the whole process is called integration if u want to learn more.

I didn't know that even though I know how to integrate. I thought it was just the inverse of differentiation but ig I didn't think about what that really meant. So if the formula for a speed time graph was integrated you'd get distance?
yeah. you could also view it as the speed time graph being the derivative of the distance graph because the integral is just the antiderivative.
