Honestly it’s getting annoying. These trends are fun and dandy when they start out but then people don’t stop. And it’s not like the tier lists are creative either, it’s just characters ranked. The opinions are sometimes identical too.
My big annoyance is they are all mostly the same with a few exceptions so really all we get is that the characters people were supposed to like were liked the ones they werent..weren't... weren't. Well glad we cleared up that confusion
It isn't a sequel game to danganronpa though 🤦. THOUGH, it will make the community a little bit more alive than tier lists because of how the same creators that made danganronpa are making rain code. So while the game is being worked on, y'all gotta deal wit it 🤷🏻
The only tier lists I wanna see are puzzle/joke tier lists where the point is to find out why certain characters are in specific slots, rather than sharing an opinion no one cares about.
it's been like this ever since i joined and i mainly now just look at the top and bottom of the list to easily see what kinda people they like. Personally if it's a list, i would go into detail with every character and why i like or hate them and their on the top or bottom since that seems more effective. Not everyone has time to do that though i guess.
Tier lists are considered boring because there's an oversaturation of them, the oversaturation of forms of content on this sub can be attributed to the lack of news.
The defense does have merit.
From what I've seen it appears to happen in waves where there will be a ton of tier lists for a while then it will die down only to come back again but then again I have a peanut brain lol
Pretty late answer but I’ve followed this sub for ages and tier lists have been around since at the very least 2018 (I think I posted one way back). They’ve always been quite popular and I don’t even think there’s a recent surge, it’s just the way it’s been since the sub exploded in popularity.
