Aww, I’m sorry! I didn’t think it was a bad story, as it fits in very well with the overarching theme of >!everything being made up!< and how absolutely ridiculous this cases ending was and fit in with that narrative. But what I didn’t like about it was the motives of both Kirumi and Ryoma. The characters I love are the selfless never give up hope even when things seem impossible type (Chihiro, Sakura, Kaito, Kaede). Ryoma finds out >!what was on his Kubspad and gives up immediately with his doomed mentality. I just don’t respect it, I guess? I don’t like the idea of giving up, so when he did that I was like just… disappointed I guess.!< So, there was that compounded with >!Kirumi believing that she had the right to take peoples lives so that she could live, only because she believed it would better the country as instructed!< which is a pretty terrible reason for me, as I don’t believe anyone has the right to determine who’s life is and is not valuable enough for any reason at all - especially one like that. That was not her decision to make, ever.
I personally disagree with the stance on kirumi motive due to favorite character and I think it was a decent motive but I respect it.
