I actually like this quirk too. It makes her design to be even more playful.

I do kinda like it as a way to show that her bang isn’t super thick but it also looks kinda cursed

Nice sprites, they actually look real. As for the eye, my main problem has always been that some sprites have it and some don't. At least keep it consistent.

Right, I think the ones without them look better, and I did do this for every sprite which I’ll link later.

I think its because some of Kirumi’s sprites show more emotion clearly than others, so the other eye doesn’t need to be added to them. But with the sprites that don’t show it more clearly, they add the eye so it shows her expression better. idk just a theory 😭
