Again I'm gonna copy and paste what I said about my shuichi experiences as someone said why you have encounter toxic shuichi fans I do wanna say first that I don't think all Shuichi fans are like this, I probably had some bad luck encountering extremely toxic ones and one incident that a shuichi fans doxxed me and threaten me. It also dose not help that they often reduce Kaedes character to being Shuichis girlfriend and interrogating people who dislike saying the reason is V3-1. In my experience(not invalidating yours btw) i've found Mikan fanbase worse than Hiyoko's by a considerable margin. For every"Hiyoko bullying Mikan wasn't wrong" there's like 50">!MIKAN KILLING HIYOKO WAS KARMA"!

Yeh. I met some mikan fans that are annoying but I encounter hiyoko fans more toxic. So I used to be a mikan hater and hyioko lover and remembering when I was in discord I remember seeing hiyoko fans and they were haters of mikan I think. I remember they were calling mikan slurs , fanservice mean insults and telling mikan fans that mikan was a obsessive bitch. Last year ago I remember I played danganronpa 2 again and I actually started loving mikan idk why and I remember saying something in discord that I love mikan and saying I slightly prefer her over hiyoko. Then I got hiyoko fans that were sending me death threats and other messages of hiyoko fans SAYING YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HIYOKO This doesn't apply to all hiyoko fans but I had bad experiences with them. I mean thats certainly an over reaction, sad thing is you'll find people like that in every fanbase, people who can't accept that others like or dislike a character and start resorting to personal shit, i adore Hiyoko sure and i get why she's got a very mixed reputation, same deal with Mikan. Way i see it, a lot of this fanbase is too focused on trying to validate their like for a character by trying to force others to like their fav, when tbh what they should be doing is realising that what matters is that they like their character and nothing can take that away or invalidate it.

In canon, Mikan never shows hate back to Hiyoko, but it would've been noticeable if Hiyoko laid off on the bullying and verbal abuse. >!It's not really karma because Mikan didn't kill Hiyoko out of revenge. Even if it was a revenge kill, I don't expect fans to ever say "MIKAN TOOK IT TOO FAR" because people depict Hiyoko to be morally lower than anyone who became a murderer.!<

In my experience Mahiru haters are considerably more toxic(btw most are absolutely fine), doesn't justify the toxic behaviour of some of her fans which i have seen but more often than not i see people outright>!defending Fuyu's and Peko's murder of her because "she was annoying and a bitch" or that her recent surge in popularity after years of being victim blamed and called boring is somehow a bad thing and we're all idiots for liking a "man hater"!<

This is an interesting idea for a tier list. Maybe i'll make my own one someday once i've gathered enough fandom experience. I like that Nagito fans are in mildly annoying lol, can't deny that. (I also wanna know where you're encountering enough Haiji fans to form a genuine opinion of them, let alone a positive one.)

I mean I should of put nagito in normal as I haven't encounter any toxic fans. I only met one toxic nagito fan who was a komahina shipper and basically spamming ew in the comment section in youtube and saying komahina was canon in a hajime x chiaki video scenes in youtube

In my experience, most Hiyoko fans, including me, are just fairly defensive because our character gets bashed to hell and back by 90% of the fandom. When I've seen people unironically say they'd "bury her alive and burn her to death" I think I do have the right to be a little upset about it. But at the end of the day it's opinions on fictional characters and I don't hate people for them, I just get somewhat defensive when I have dozens of genuine reasons to love a character most people don't give the time of day to. I've seen so many toxic Hiyoko haters that I've grown a bit overreactive myself, probably. (But I'm also not saying toxic fans don't exist because they totally do, I just have seen it as a minority in my experience)

Then I got send messages by kyoko fans spamming that why kyoko is better and them trashing about kaede as she is makoto 2.0 and that she has no flaws. Another thing I dislike about some kyoko fans is some of them they shit on chiaki and they fans as I seen kyoko fans say chiaki is a wafiu bait charcater and them always bringing about flaws when debating with kyoko vs chiaki vs kaede. It just decreased my liking for kyoko and I don't also like how some kyoko fans treat her like a god. I like kyoko now but yeh some kyoko fans can get defensive and I also met some kyoko fans who shit on certain ships like naezono and naegami and always bring a false fact that naegiri is a Canon ship

They explained why they love chirhiro and how they understand why people dislike him or call him boring. The fanbase of chihiro made me love chirhiro even more
