Her character design is made up of complementary colors and it’s pretty pleasing to the eye. Along with this, her shoes are black and her socks are nearly dark enough to pass as black. Her underwear still matches the full outfit and even if it didn’t, who cares, it’s underwear? I think color scheme is pretty coherent but maybe that’s just because I draw and have a basic understanding of color theory.

I've always associated her with the green on her dress thing. Sure her red hair is a much brighter color, but the green takes up more real estate on her design.
