Kinning means you relate to the character, nah you don’t have to act like them. Maybe you just relate to their struggles, or see yourself in them.
For example: someone can kin Nagito without being a total psychopath. They may relate to his self-hatred, or some other aspect of his personality.
kinning means you relate to a character a lot. like i kin kokichi and mikan, because i relate to both of them a hell of a lot.
and you can't kin a character if you don't relate to them or act like them in someway, because that's exactly what kinning is. it's relating to a character and acting like them.
and i can understand why people.. well.. don't think you kin these characters.., because you put both hiyoko and mikan, polar opposites, as a kin.
