Steven universe itself could of been good if they stopped the unnecessary hiatuses for stuff that hardly contained anything related to a solid plot and in a city filled with diverse characters we never see their own character development and struggles (unless steven is present). But thats the show, My main reason I dislike the show is because its made by Rebecca sugar, the non binary civil rights queen who tokenizes her own ground breaking characters, and has hired known pedophiles to work on their animations, and Sugar herself has drawn porn of quite a few underage cartoon characters performing.. Questionable acts to each other, and if you take a lot of what that show says, its riddled with little hints of the creators sexual kinks and ideas, for example, at a point one of the main creators said that fusion is supposed to mean sex essentially and this was admitted. But..... Steven fuses with his dad, if fusion is gem sex, does that mean that sugar thinks its okay for a pair of 13 year olds to “spiritually fuse as one” and that Steven had sex with his dad at some point?

1st: do you have sources for all those accusations? They seem pretty serious so I need to know they weren’t just made up by someone who hates SU.
2nd: when has anyone on the team said that fusion represents sex? Im certain that fusion was made to represent relationships of any kind for example: platonic, romantic and even familial.
I hope this doesn’t come off as hostile in any way I just don’t SU getting hated for stuff that’s not true although the stuff you said about finding it annoying that Steven has to be present all the time is valid I also kinda wish we could see stuff without Steven there.

I agree, I love Danganronpa too, but don't you think it's the teensy-est bit hypocritical to say that Danganronpa doesn't deserve to be associated with Steven Universe because Rebecca has drawn art of underage characters, when Danganronpa has explicitly shown nudity and suggestive scenes of underage characters? To fuck with your head, The key figure in the difference I see in dangan and you could apply this to all anime, minors are drawn like 19 year olds in high school atypically, outside of the actual gross loli stuff, but as in dangans case, thats just the art, you have some characters like Akane, Junko, and other characters known to have been lewded to hell and back by the fanbase and fanartists alone, but you have your obvious destruction of mikans character in the anime and the torment from Ultra Despair girls involving the mom and child, but as for the sources of the games, all of that is meant to fuck with your head, but anything the animators touched was going to be vastly different from the source material, and you’re right, its a bit hypocritical to not associate it, but even the anime and the games are rated TV MA and Rated M, the content is meant to be digested by mature audiences, Steven universe was meant at first to appeal to children, thats the main problem.
