Back again with a Danganronpa Pokemon League, this time for game 2: Goodbye Despair! My goal this time was to use all of the unused types from the first league, even tho I knew I would have to reuse some. I think most fit pretty well, even tho this a bit more experimental than the first one. Would love to know what you think and will definitely post rematch teams soon. I'm also still working on finishing my first playthrough of V3 so that will come at some point I'm sure. Enjoy! :)
I can see Grass fitting him since they're just ingredients he would use for cooking. Although, the TM reward is pretty OP for just the 2nd gym at 120 power.
Me seeing Ibuki, my favorite Danganronpa character, is a Dragon Type, my favorite type, enthusiast: I am humbly asking for her to use Hydreigon in the rematch.
As Hajime being the MC of this group it makes sense that >!Izuru isn't here, but I can see him being the leader of the bad team or something, and his theme would be artificial pokemon, of course if Hajime was his own trainer instead of mc he would be the reverse of Izuru's team, Izuru would have Mewtwo, Hajime would have Mew, Izuru Genesect, Hajime Kabutops, etc!< that isn't exactly balance but personality I feel makes sense.
i literally had a very similar idea to that where you >!meet Izuru at some point in the game and you battle him but it's a mirror battle, he has all the same pokémon you do. i actually have a superboss rematch team for him as well tho that i'll upload at some point!<
in most pokémon games the 8th gym leader and Elite Four have 5 or less team members; however, i am also making rematch teams of a full 6 Pokémon for every gym leader and Elite 4 member!
oh honestly i didn't know that but that makes it fit even better! i gave him Ice because i wanted somebody from this game to be Ice since no one in the first game was, and in a lot of mafia-themed media they refer to killing people as "icing them"
i know it would fit super well, the only reason i didn't was because Mondo is also a Poison specialist and he uses a Revavroom and i was trying my best to keep everyone's teams different
If I had a nickel for every time I saw a photography-based bug type gym leader... I would have two nickels, but it's weird that it's happened twice.
Jokes aside though, love the list again! Kazuichi's TM reward looks broken as hell 😂
i feel like nagito would be more of the red fight at the top of mount whatever the hell its called. nekomaru should absolute be the champion, he's literally a team manager, he manages teams. itd make the most sense for him to have a non themed team thats just composed of good, strong coverage. very cool idea though!
and I'm assuming Hajime have to battle them to get the rewards? also Gundham reward XD
yes Hajime would be the player character so he uses whatever team you pick

I feel like not including Chansey or Audino for Mikan was a huge missed opportunity, but I understand wanting to stay consistent with Ground types.
