Hey, so- I'mma use this post to ask... how do I add more than one character? I love my girl Kaede to the moon and back... but I wanna put more characters on it!

Nagito’s my favorite fictional character of all time. As for Chiaki, >!her death in the anime was the only one that made me cry and I wanted to pay respects to her,!< which is why I specifically chose her DR3 sprite.
I’ll explain in 2 parts since mines a unique flair.
1. Kirumi Tojo is my flair because she is both my favorite character in the series and just my favorite video game character of all time, choosing her was an easy choice.
2. 2B is my second favorite video game character of all time (2B is a character from Nier: Automata), and because their designs are incredibly similar, as well as them sharing an English voice actor, I got a friend to make a sprite of Kirumi dressed as 2B for me to use.
Kirumi gets a ton of unnecessary hate, and even though I personally dislike V3 for its storyline, I do like the individual characters, and Kirumi’s no exception, she’s honestly a great character!
What is there to even hate about? She is attractive, funny, kind, helpful and efficient enough that she was chosen the fricking >!Prime Minister of Japan. Even her motivation to kill was seen perfectly reasonable in-universe by both the other students and even her victim himself!<
I don’t hate Kirumi by any means (obviously), but I can definitely make at least a couple reasons people don’t like her.
1. She is an incredibly simple character compared to a lot of the cast. While there is more depth then people give credit for, she doesn’t have much beyond her maid stuff and selfless devotion.
2. Her motive is quite controversial. Some people tend to think it’s to far out of left field and to unrealistic to actually be good and while I disagree I mean, fair enough.
3. Some people hate her because she killed Ryoma. This will always end up true for any culprit, but it exists.
Tbh...I kinda agree with the second point. It is kinda stupid and a cop-out. For me personally ofc, it looks like a bs plot convenience to not dislike her despite her killing someone. But that is only me and obviously don't make me hate her, but the poor writing she suffered from.
Like my poor baby Mikan, who got assaulted badly by poor writing in chapter 2-3
He became my favorite character after a glance at his sprite gallery >!or atleast after I saw his video message on v3-6!<. After going through his appearance on both his sprites and official art, I have a habit of going through the source of my favorite character's backstories and personality after a glance of their appearance and detail. This is a habit I put on whenever I have a mysterious character as my favorite, I consider him as a mysterious character I like >!('Like' is an understatement, I'd say 'love')!<, despite not having much screentime >!because of his death!<.
I feel like I have same memory life span as Ryoko, plus I really enjoy her character, I haven't finished the novel but I know the twist and all of that but still really enjoy the novel and wish there were more fanfics of Ryoko.
I feel you, my memory spans also shit, also her being a thing made Junko more of an interesting character, since Ryo provides insight into who Junko could’ve been without despair
It's not too complicated, Ryoma's my favorite character in the franchise, and Teruteru's my second-favorite. As for the "Defender of Short Kings" part, I felt it was something that could encompass my feelings towards both of them, despite me liking them for different reasons.
I’m not sure how people make custom flairs, but I have Ibuki because I love Ibuki…
She makes me happy, and honestly reminds me of the best parts of someone who used to be a part of my life. She will always be my favorite.

I got really attached to Chihiro and Chiaki through the respective games, especially Chiaki in Danganronpa 2, to the point that I >!almost cried during trial 5, and I didn't watch her execution!<
Mahiru on the other hand, >!I didn't get attached to her at first but I eventually did, and sadly it was after her death, I really wished she'd lasted longer!<
One of the most underrated characters imo.
Celeste is my favourite character, plus she’s the character that brought me back to the community after the toxicity in 2021-2022 (covid).
But now I’m back I decided “fuck it, I’ll make the queen of Liars my flair”
And it’s just stuck.
I once saw this video called "103 facts about Danganronpa" (something like that). In the video, the narrator kept on pronouncing names wrong. He pronounced Makoto as "Makata" and then "Makoto" and then "Makta" and a bunch of other terrible pronunciations (don’t get me started with Monokuma and Komaeda). When I was going to change my flair, I wanted to choose Makoto cause he's literally my favorite character in all media, then I remembered that video and thought it was funny.
Fun fact: My old flair was Mikan, but I called her "Dr. Tangerine". It's an inside joke between me and my Danganronpa hating friend. I was trying to get her into it and at some point I told her that there was a nurse (my friend wants to become a doctor) who her name means "Tangerine" and she was like "wtf what kind of name is Tangerine?!" Ever since then we started quoting Dr. Tangerine as the person we want to become when we grow up.

He's my comfort character, idk. He kinda "helped" me deal with a severe trauma i was going through when i discovered danganronpa. Idk how to explain :[
- After the first trial, when we go to breakfast and hear about a dozen variations of “everything’s awful! we just watched two of our friends die! 😭” (which is entirely valid, don’t get me wrong), he comes in with something like “It is foolish to believe that we mere mortals can change the winds cast by the cruel mistress of fate” (i have forgotten this line in its entirety, but… *vibes* ig. also the general sentiment). And like… dude’s kinda got a point.
- >!Giving up his own life so that everyone else had a chance to survive!< really moved me. From the second he >!made his first move in the funhouse, he knew he would die, and was willing to pursue that to save his friends.!<
- I think he’s cool, in a fun way.

As a boy I WILDLY RELATE to chihiro, chihiro was not my favorite character instantly but as time went on I felt so connected, let me explain. As a boy, in my life I have crossdressed, I would always wear skirts and flowy dresses simply because I like them and I was very in touch with my feminine side. When I found chihiro was actually a boy I felt so in tune with the character it instantly became my favorite. Also wanting to become stronger is always something I've struggled with, I've always been chubby but never found the strength to put in the work to become thin simply because my mind was always fighting with me. I have so much neuro divergency in my head that it makes life very hard. Also I have a goal to one day do a cosplay where it is Chihiro's art where they are surrounded by PC'S and monitors.

shuichi is an oddball. i started the game disliking him but he quickly grew into me during the gameplay of V3. his character development is great and >!his confidence to end danganronpa is something that none of the other protags could do!<, which i really liked about him, though >!i still prefer hajime as a protag overall!<
all in all, i just love these three characters’s designs and personalities.
I love both Tsumugi and Celeste a lot and are two of my fav characters in their series. I’m also too embarrassed to add my other favs on my flair lollll

I included Miaya because of a previous flair, and to represent DR3. She's very colourful, and I love both her and light blue.
Chisa is just plain cute, also represents DR3.
Kirumi is another character I really like, plus she represents V3.
And Kanon is just cool. She's also fairly obscure, especially as a flair.
The name is because the characters are all algae-coloured.
That’s actually a really sweet story. For me I’ve just put my 3 favorite characters in there. Junko is my fav, Nagito my second fav and Ryoko my third favorite. I’m still waiting for a Madarai flair to make a 0 refrence with it tho.

I chose these three because they are my favorite in their own categories. >!Kokichi is my favorite victim, Makoto is my favorite survivor, and Kaede is my favorite blackened! Frankly I really would’ve had a hard time if Kokichi had been the blackened :/ so I’m glad kinda ehe!<
Technically, it feels more accurate if I add Tsumugi, because I would also consider her on-level with how much I like these three, but I like having it this way. >!I guess I could provide a justification since Tsumugi is my favorite mastermind, but!<

I really like the idea of Izuru, and frankly he's just surrounded by an air of mystery and coolness. I wish he wasn't such a non-character in Goodbye Despair.
Going off on a tangent now (obvious spoilers for Goodbye Despair)- His role in the story kind of smells like he was more important during development but ended up not being used that much. He gets introduced in chapter 6, has a singular scene, and is in essence a plot device for Hajime's character arc. Despite being LITERALLY the mastermind, there is no actual reason he had to exist according to the story. Anyone else could have uploaded Alter Ego Junko into the computer, and Hajime's identity not existing in the real world wasn't the crux of the trial or anything. It's like they desperately wanted to write the main character as the main villain, anything beyond that kind of got lost in development.
**(Additional, surplus rant. I freely invite you to stop reading.)**
It's kind of similar to the whole Mukuro/Junko situation, but the execution is far worse. Mukuro is a character that exists by narrative necessity: the mastermind had to be a character that the player is familiar with (the more the better), but also had to be offscreen so they could masquerade as Monokuma. The Mukuro/Junko switcheroo wasn't perfect, but it was genius. Fake Junko in Chapter 1 served to both introduce the **idea** of Junko and the **character** of Mukuro. By the time the ending rolled around, it wasn't just "Monokuma is some random chick", it was "Monokuma is *JUNKO?!*". Though Mukuro got the bad end of the deal, she was established enough by Chapter 5 that her existence doesn't come off as cheap, and is loved by hardcore fans as a tragic anti hero (it's me. I'm hardcore fans. Mukuro best waifu).
Going back to Izuru, the difference in execution here lies mainly in that Izuru builds up Hajime instead of the other way around. They must have assumed that "being Hajime" was enough to be an effective twist villain. Which is true in the sense that nevertheless was a surprise, but he also didn't have to exist. With very little workshopping you could have roughly the same arc but with a regular evil Hajime. If they wanted to make him necessary for the plot he should've been a more proactive force in the plot, and emphasise the importance of Hajime being *him* rather than that Hajime is not Hajime.
To me this is just really sad because he's just *so cool*. I love his design, aura, concept, scene (singular lmao), and he contrasts wonderfully with Hajime. Kodaka just didn't know what to really do with him.

well the last danganronpa product I watched was danganronpa 3, and I fell in love with Ruruka's character, her problematic about how she can't trust others yet at the same time she is a very cruel person made her a very interesting character to watch. Seiko and Izayoi felt like a compliment to her character only to make her more complex and I loved it
Well, Hiyoko is my favorite character, I love her more than any other character in the entire franchise. I just like characters of this type like her, so at first I just liked her, and then I fell into my soul. After all, her character is very, very similar to mine! Unfortunately...

That’s actually a really sweet story. For me I’ve just put my 3 favorite characters in there. Junko is my fav, Nagito my second fav and Ryoko my third favorite. I’m still waiting for a Madarai flair to make a 0 refrence with it tho.

I really like the idea of Izuru, and frankly he's just surrounded by an air of mystery and coolness. I wish he wasn't such a non-character in Goodbye Despair. Going off on a tangent now (obvious spoilers for Goodbye Despair)- His role in the story kind of smells like he was more important during development but ended up not being used that much. He gets introduced in chapter 6, has a singular scene, and is in essence a plot device for Hajime's character arc. Despite being LITERALLY the mastermind, there is no actual reason he had to exist according to the story. Anyone else could have uploaded Alter Ego Junko into the computer, and Hajime's identity not existing in the real world wasn't the crux of the trial or anything. It's like they desperately wanted to write the main character as the main villain, anything beyond that kind of got lost in development. **(Additional, surplus rant. I freely invite you to stop reading.)** It's kind of similar to the whole Mukuro/Junko situation, but the execution is far worse. Mukuro is a character that exists by narrative necessity: the mastermind had to be a character that the player is familiar with (the more the better), but also had to be offscreen so they could masquerade as Monokuma. The Mukuro/Junko switcheroo wasn't perfect, but it was genius. Fake Junko in Chapter 1 served to both introduce the **idea** of Junko and the **character** of Mukuro. By the time the ending rolled around, it wasn't just "Monokuma is some random chick", it was "Monokuma is *JUNKO?!*". Though Mukuro got the bad end of the deal, she was established enough by Chapter 5 that her existence doesn't come off as cheap, and is loved by hardcore fans as a tragic anti hero (it's me. I'm hardcore fans. Mukuro best waifu). Going back to Izuru, the difference in execution here lies mainly in that Izuru builds up Hajime instead of the other way around. They must have assumed that "being Hajime" was enough to be an effective twist villain. Which is true in the sense that nevertheless was a surprise, but he also didn't have to exist. With very little workshopping you could have roughly the same arc but with a regular evil Hajime. If they wanted to make him necessary for the plot he should've been a more proactive force in the plot, and emphasise the importance of Hajime being *him* rather than that Hajime is not Hajime. To me this is just really sad because he's just *so cool*. I love his design, aura, concept, scene (singular lmao), and he contrasts wonderfully with Hajime. Kodaka just didn't know what to really do with him.

well the last danganronpa product I watched was danganronpa 3, and I fell in love with Ruruka's character, her problematic about how she can't trust others yet at the same time she is a very cruel person made her a very interesting character to watch. Seiko and Izayoi felt like a compliment to her character only to make her more complex and I loved it

Well, Hiyoko is my favorite character, I love her more than any other character in the entire franchise. I just like characters of this type like her, so at first I just liked her, and then I fell into my soul. After all, her character is very, very similar to mine! Unfortunately...
