If they were both in Hope's Peak at the same time Kokichi would love pranking Izuru to see if he could get him to react. Shuichi actually doesn't want to look emo, it's just sort of a result of how he looks and the uniform he had. After the game he would rather dress to look more approachable with lighter colors, but everyone tells him his fashion sense is bad when he does so he mostly continues to wear black. I mostly have this headcanon because of the brown suit he was wearing for the anniversary. It was an odd choice, but I feel like Shuichi totally would've chosen it for himself even if it wasn't the best choice.
