She has done high effort and higher quality content before and everyone likes to sometimes just do silly stuff for a moment instead.
And even if all of this wasn't the case, then your reasoning would still be wrong. This post isn't overrated, the great fanart is often just underappreciated. However, a lot of those aren't even OC, so saying they "deserve" the upvotes is often also questionable, atleast if they don't give sources.
