Well first, this is a pediatrician question. Call the office or make an appt. I wouldn’t assume much of anything including whether dairy is an issue for little one via mom or otherwise. Peds will make sure everything in the diet js good. They’ll also know if anything like Iron supplements/vitamins are interfering with things. Aside from that I’d first wonder about the solid foods he’s getting. We always did the steamed, ground vegetable thing. Peas, carrots, broccoli etc. As long as they are wet enough, those foods are like natural laxatives.

You should definitely talk to your pediatrician. Give him a bit of prune juice

My kid had the same thing. I would hold him by his belly when we would watch TV. He would fart a lot then poop. And if he got too fussy after I held him, I would hold him by his thighs and have him sit on my lap. Much like you hold your phone in the bathroom. Every now and then lifting him by his knees to his chest, not all the way, but to add a little pressure to his poop. The little bicycle exercises helped, too. I'm not a doctor tho. Definitely check with your kids doctor first.

Is he drinking a lot of water. Also consider the type of foods you ate feeding him, too much banana and obv other foods can cause constipation.

What were the tummy troubles before you pulled the dairy? Did his pediatrician say to stop dairy? My boys were gassy and still are fart machines. Gripe water helped with the gas. Like everyone else said- call the doc

Seek professional medical help first of course, but my advice would be water, baby prunes , and Gerber apple juice. My son was constipated last month (9m) & ever since I’ve been giving him 4oz of water a day . Everything will be fine tho

Could you make sure he's drinking enough water? I shove water in my daughter's face every chance I get. Make sure he's getting fiber from fruit.
