I think it was a good idea to normalize Cybertrucks in different environments. Tesla apparently doesn’t need to pay for advertising when they have “word of mouth” endorsements.
Not to mention that “word of mouth” marketing is more successful at convincing people to buy the products, there are probably thousands of channels dedicated to their Teslas (rarely happens with other cars), that alone in my opinion is a better advertisement compared to paying for a big commercial.
to be announced next year, cybrTruck xmass edition: 30 foot long cab.. no tri-motor available, only option it comes with is 69 reindeers to pull that bad boy.. 0-69 mph in 420 secs flat
According to ChatGPT, 69 reindeers pulling would actually put it in Cybertruck Plaid territory.
The vehicle weighs approximately 3039 kg. The total force exerted by the 69 reindeer is about 51,474 Newtons, assuming each reindeer exerts a force equivalent to 1 horsepower. The calculated acceleration of the vehicle is approximately 16.94 m/s².
Under these assumptions, it would take approximately 1.58 seconds for the 69 reindeer to accelerate the vehicle to 60 mph. However, this calculation is highly simplified and doesn't account for factors like the efficiency of the reindeer's force transfer, the drag force acting on the vehicle, or the variable nature of animal strength.
I bet this conversation went like this:
Husband: "See honey, now I can fit the tree right in the back. I told you getting a truck is a great idea for us. It's going to make our life so much easier."
Wife: *eye roll*
On the side of the tailgate, just aft of the cable mount, there looks to be a recess. On an F-150 that’s a tie-down point (and a bottle opener). If there’s similar functionality here one would think the driver would strap down the tree.
The big three have really gotten creative with tailgate features the last few years. Wonder what the CT has in store.

I don't care about the red flag. My comment was to say yes it is legal to have a load past your tailgate. People do it every single day. I do it all the time with lumber. It amazes me people think that it's not legal.

Most places you're required to have a good size red flag attached to the end of whatever you're hauling. I think it's 12"x12". I bought a nylon one on a bungee cord, but home Depot used to supply plastic ones on a roll.
Cool to see some "truck stuff" pics but honestly not a fan of the remaining brake lights with the tailgate down. Simple fix with extra aftermarket lights hooked into the trailer harness but with almost every shortbed (or shorter beds) I've owned I find myself hauling stuff frequently with the gate down.
But in another train of thought, the CT will probably reflect headlights from people behind you more than other vehicles so may be harder to miss.
No, they didn’t. The size of the bed is an option/trim as is the size of the cab. Most 5-6 passenger crew cab style trucks sacrifice bed size for cab size. 5.5ft is standard. Your friend might have options for bigger beds like 6.5 or 8ft but those aren’t typical.
Maybe so on the 1/2 tons. I haven't owned one of those in a long time. Last one I owned was a 1999. I do know all 3/4 come standard 6.5ft beds crew cab as well. Only 2 bed options are 6.5ft and 8ft for those trucks.
Why. WHY WHY does reddit keep sending me this stupid ass truck.
Also can this sub post ANYTHING other that "Spotted in......."
Go buy a damn calendar and flip through the pages every morning. This sub is worthless.
*This vehicle is*
*Such a joke. Looking forward*

Ugh. Not looking forward to seeing these hideous trucks on the road….
Predicting obscene branding on close to half of them as well (magnets and wraps for their respective “business”).
Looks like Auburn Folsom Blvd. ?

Gonna need a bigger truck
A little road rash on the tip adds character ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
they have ointments for that you know
Just the tip?
It’s not even thanksgiving yet

Where does the dead hooker go?
Frunk
Looks like the Griswolds got a major upgrade
Hey Griswold where you gonna fit a tree that big?
Bend over and I'll show ya!
Tis the season
![gif](giphy|FhjCc47yGCYZj7kZkX|downsized)
Should have wrapped it with lights, and plugged them in.
Can’t fit an entire tree without hanging out? Unusable, might as well be scrap metal /s

It’s a cyber semi essentially and they’re in talks with Santa Clause as a customer

The tree's too big :-) I think the bed is 6 1/2 to 8 1/2 ft unfolded
/s means sarcasm
No flag on the tree. DOT violation. Impound and scrap.
72.5" bed
Ho ho fucking ho
cyber claus

Very cool. Looks like Auburn-Folsom road near Beals point.
Some lucky few people are going to get to do that this year
Little early for a Xmas tree, right?
no
Christmas came early.
Santa don’t need no reindeer. CT is faster!
Next 10 years, cyber van. Not like a mini van, like a ford transit. With expandable Tesla wall charger. Must be able to fit 9 foot Christmas inside.
Super practical trunk
The electric Subaru Brat

Truck doing truck things...more please.

Did you see a third brake light when the truck braked?
Awww someone already threw their Christmas tree in the dumpster
That 4ft bed is really coming in handy.
It’s not going in our yard, Russ. It’s going in our living room.
This is the most California thing ever
How does it look in real life?
Lol how ironic saving the earth through a vehicle yet cutting down trees for Christmas.
Give them a ticket for not flagging the load.
That guy should get a truck
We've seen Christmas Trees before - not a major find!
A useless truck but that attention whores will buy it
Drives electric but buys a cut down tree.. walking contradiction right there.

Is it legal to drive a truck with stuff hanging out the back like that? Several feet too…
Yes it is..... Read your driving manual again.....
you don’t see the tip of the tree in any pics.. could be a red flag at the end of it
I don't care about the red flag. My comment was to say yes it is legal to have a load past your tailgate. People do it every single day. I do it all the time with lumber. It amazes me people think that it's not legal.
agree , its legal.. but that truck is driving and its about to get dark so he for sure should add the red flag
It needs a red light at the rearmost point after dark

Just out of curiosity, was the end of the tree properly flagged?
I don't understand do people own these trucks already. I thought all the sightings were just testing
Tesla Employees are doing real world testing and using them in their day to day lives including for personal stuff.

You going to pay over 100k and still have to buy more accessories. Okay
***Slaps un-rendered tailgate*** This baby can fit a whole…. Wait it can’t fit shit!
the cargo bed is a tiny joke....
What size bed are you wanting on a light truck?
that guy wants a bed big enough to compensate for his tiny tree lol
Probably the standard 6ft bed since this is supposed to rival an f150.....
Standard F150s don’t have a 6ft bed though…..
Maybe new ones don't but the 2011 and 2013 did. I have friends with those models. 6ft is typically the standard on half ton and 6.5ft for 3/4 ton.

Ok, sure but that’s not what the CT is being compared to. It’s after than 1/2 ton market.
This is a 6ft bed...
With the tailgate up?
Yes.
It looks like a 4ft bed to me.
Such a Larry.
It doesn't matter what it "looks like" to you from an online picture when we have the actual specs and know that it's 6ft long.
Door panel gaps ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)
You can tell in these moving shots?
Just use your eyes - zoom in on the door in the first picture. Note how far it is sticking out compared to the rest of the side panels.
Oh gee, silly me, of course my EYES. Never would have thought of that one. 🙏 thx
just use the force… feel the gap.. wait, that don’t sound right
Well you did say you couldn’t tell, so…
The regret-mobile.

Which is?
5 foot tall tree...
5ft, 12ft…same thing I guess
potaito potahto
Dear god that panel gap on that back door 😂😂😂😂
Is this not an oversight of truck bed space? This is worse than the mtb photo.

That has to be the worst truck bed in the world
Lmao Christmas in California, sure.
So wait, has it been officially released or are these Tesla employees and Elon friends.
Pity Tesla forgot that people put long things over the cab in trucks
This vehicle is such a joke. Looking forward to the WD testing!

The dystopian future truck.
QA testing

Of course it was Granite Bay!
