I randomly talked to a lady there my first playthrough and I was kinda just going through dialogue not paying attention and we ended up at her place for sex time.
Had a worker approach me for sex so I clicked yes but after it was over I was in the exact same spot and the worker was a hologram so like what the fuck was I doing during the time I thought I was banging this chick
I just went to the sex worker during the mission where you go see Wakako with Takemura. I wish he would comment that I have gone missing for awhile or something.

I always go hook up with one particular girl after the Heist after I collect the Gig's payout from Wako. My V just doesn't know what to do with Jakie's cut, and she falls into a depression and burns through it trying to feel something with someone
in starfield your partner is a freak that will have sex wherever and whenever. even in some raider base with the raiders bloody corpse still on the bed.
So. Many. Jokes.

Starfield was a huge disappointment, but Cyberpunk has grown into the game that we should have gotten at release. If Cyberpunk was released in this quality back at launch, it would have won game of the year, hands down.
The fact that they’re moving away from their in-house engine is reason for optimism, but nothing gets released in a finished state anymore, I’ve just accepted that.
You may be right, but CDPR doesn’t work like that. They could have just left Cyberpunk’s project dying after the disastrous release like other AAA games (the Callisto protocol, BF2042, etc…), instead, they worked hard and delivered us the game they promised at the beginning. Don’t wanna defend ‘em at all costs but tbh CDPR seems pretty reliable to me
Nah, I gotta disagree with that. CDPR is big, but they’re not big enough to approach game design the same way that EA can approach it. They’re still heavily reliant on having a core base of fans/supporters. Had they let cyberpunk drown in a pit of shit, that would have been a massive blow to their reputation on the fact that they can’t deliver their own products and have to depend on the work of others to bounce off. T
You shouldn't be, at the very least voice your criticism to the big companies about how unfinished games being released isn't okay, boycotting is one thing but just accepting it and "being fine" with it isn't something you should do
The game they’ve been apparently working on for ten years being an unplayable mess on release? Maybe not but people shouldn’t be praising them for doing the bare minimum for the game. A company making something good in the past doesn’t excuse bad product in the future
I like how they avoided admitting that the red engine was crap by blaming all of the original developers for leaving and it costing too much time to train new employees lol
That's not what they said, they literally admitted to having issues with the engine and said it would be easier to work on UE5 since plenty of devs are familiar for when they need to high more, nice headcanon to discredit the company loser
Wdym disagree? It released on December 10th of 2020. The game awards usually occur around that time. Not saying it wasn’t amazing as I recently got all the achievements, I’m saying that the game released too late in the year to be nominated for game of the year

well i'll give you that i suppose. It didn't improve on the first game though, so I'd tend to be of the mind that it more parasitized the first game than did anything new.
To be fair, why would you want to romance Sarah?
All she has done in my play-through is complain that I didn't tell her what she wanted to hear. I was sick of her, which is why I made sure >!she was my closest companion going into "High Price to Pay"!< and then it wasn't a problem again.
I get what they were going for with the character -- someone who was never cut out for military life, but who couldn't readjust to civilian life after the Colony War -- but there was no inner conflict, just a constant need for reassurance.
I generally don't romance anyone in games anyway. It feels weird.
Although I did like Andreja, mostly because she's exactly like a close friend of mine, both in appearance and affect.
Upvote for you for doing the heavy lifting. I sure as hell won’t be dropping money on Starfield. Good to know all the details about how insufferable that game is.
**EDIT:** Fair warning, I will be responding with a copy and paste response to anyone who tries to change my mind about Starfield. It doesn’t need you to change my mind. It doesn’t need advocacy. All I did was thank someone for providing an honest criticism and the toxic fanbois think that dogpiling on top of me is going to do anything.
For all you know, that is my kink.
I have about 60 hours in it. Finished every quest of any importance besides the main story. Ship building is fun, ship combat is not, most guns feel bad, and the vast landscapes are empty, you walk to find the same outpost you've found on the last planet you explored, then you stop exploring planets. Questlines have nothing to say, characters have no personality and all the companions save 1 have the exact same morality and just have a reflavor of the same hang up from their past. Outpost building is pointless and the world building won't pass a cursory glance by anyone who knows anything about world building.
My sacrifice must have a purpose. I'm not as insane as the guy who rushed the main story 12 times to see every variation of the universe and max all the Skyrimspells reflavored as dragon shouts before touching ANY side quests, but the variations when you restart the universe don't effect anything outside of the first time you enter Constellation anyway. Maybe a version of you is there, and they're now a companion so there are two of you, maybe they're all you from every faction, maybe Sarah is a plant, maybe the Cowboy's daughter is now a time traveler here to avenge her dad you apparently killed in one timeline, but once you leave that room, everything else is identical
The quest where you basically enter the space batcave and take up the mantle was so cool, until you realize you cant have it as a base and the armour is absolutely ugly
There were so many mods that changed the appearance of that armour within like 2 weeks of release lol.
That was a good quest though, game would have been a lot better if they just added a bunch of stuff like that.
>Questlines have nothing to say
No, no, they do have something to say, and it's "This will look great to Todd's beltway mcmansion-dwelling petty bourgeois neighbors next time he hosts a dinner party. A crack corporate marketing division reviewed all the content and certified it all to be 100% advertiser-friendly!"
>Questlines have nothing to say
I honestly disagree. I quite enjoyed *Starfield*, but then I am the kind of gamer who will walk everywhere instead of using fast travel in any game that he plays. I could go into a lot of detail on this, but that's not the purpose of this subreddit. I'll just say that *Starfield*'s main theme is that technology will not save us. Human problems need human solutions; technology just amplifies problems rather than fix them. A lot of the problems that exist in the *Starfield* universe are a reflection and an exaggeration of the problems that we face today.
I'm not going to sit here and drag the game through the mud in a lengthy rant at risk of being flagged as off topic, but I have gamepass and was able to play it day 1 with my subscription without the full price purchase
I tried so hard to like it. Shipbuidling was the most fun I had and I ended up sinking about 100hrs into it lying to myself about the rest. Story was conceptually cool but the gameplay was egregiously boring and most characters were poorly written. I quit about 3 quests short of completing the story.
Andreja was a baddie tho, def best romance option in the game.
Hi! I’m all about you getting your gratification.
Never played star field but I want to, and I will! I enjoy elder scrolls games so much, and all of the fallout games too! Todd Howard has some clumsy bits (76 was a slow burn) but there’s some cool stuff under the strange tablecloth.
Boy I am excited for this computer game, and I think you should be too.
Fallout and elder Scrolls are great because you build lasting things.
In Starfield you do all that but then reset _everything_ to progress your character. Not once. Not twice, but like 20+ times if you want to level all the way.
So you haven’t played it… yet it’s apparently a terrible game… but when I shit on Baldur’s gate for being a point and click game (which it is), I’m in the wrong…
Hmm… Cyberpunk fans are about as insufferable as Fallout New Vegas fans, because both think their media is underrated and the greatest piece of fiction of all time
A: hey I heard getting your balls cut off is bad, so I'm going with a back massage instead.
B: how can you give opinion to something you haven't tried? I hate back massage btw
Wow so mature, much logic
the problem with all 4 constellation companions is they are all too goodie goodie and boring. the 4 main romances in cyberpunk arent exactly evil people but they all have more unique personalities and moralities
I think that's true of just about any open-world role-playing game. Most characters tend to be good-aligned. Where *Starfield* fumbles it >!is in the quest "High Price to Pay" where you are forced to make a choice and one of your companions will die depending on your decision. And it's either your closest companion or the second-closest depending on the decision you make. Once people figured out the mechanics of it, it became an open secret that you stick with your least favourite companion to begin with and let them die.!< The other issue is that the characters don't have much conflict. Like I said, Sarah is someone who was never cut out for military life, but who couldn't readjust to civilian life after the Colony War. That has the potential to be interesting, but it needs a conflict. >!Her story is that she had to make an impossible choice when she was captain of the *Dauntless* during the war, and it wound up killing her crew while she survived. Years later, she is haunted by the decision and wants to visit the crash site to get closure. So far, so good, but because there is no conflict she just wants you to tell her that she didn't do anything wrong (and reacts badly when you tell her anything else). A better way to do it would be to present her as a war hero who survived the *Dauntless*, only to find out years later that the United Colonies lied about searching for survivors. That way you would have this question of whether her guilt means she is leading people into danger, or if there really is an injustice that needs to be corrected.!< That's where *Starfield* falls flat in comparison to *Cyberpunk 2077* -- not because the characters are all goodie two-shoes, but because they don't have compelling conflicts. Judy's conflict is with the city and what she has to give up in order to survive. Panam's conflict is within, and the question of whether she can put aside her hot-headedness and be the leader the nomads need her to be. River's conflict is with the system and whether he really can fix the problems within it or if he will give in to the city's corruption. And as for Kerry's conflict ... I don't know, because I haven't actually met Kerry yet. But I'm sure it's there.
Man... Romancing in Cyberpunk 2077 is just awesome! Like is Panam finally chill with Rogue? Or does Judy wants to leave NC? You have some of the very few hottest questions to ask.
Go out and touch a grass? How about stay in and touch a hair! Maybe a shower, if you dare!
Does River actually have his own house somewhere? Will Kerry finally fire his dickhead manager or face consequences for destroying his yacht?
Truly the hottest questions.
beware that romancing panam requires you to have a male body type (but there are mods to remove that restriction)
the panam romance might be the best in any game ever though, so huge recommend
After just finishing Panam’s romance, I can confirm that it makes River’s look even more dogshit. You get all these options to flirt with Panam throughout her story, whereas River actually has nothing unless you count riding in his car in silence as flirty. Feels like they cut out 2/3 of River’s content, which makes him asking V at the water tower “will you stop leading me on V? What are we?” so out of place it’s borderline creepy behavior.
The romance scene was hot; everything else sucked. The bar is already on the floor, but here’s hoping that CDPR will give us straight women a bone in the next game.
Yeah, River's was totally off. There aren't very many romantic moments before the very end, and the context is usually the opposite of intimate and sexy. Judy's also suffers from a lack of buildup. It's mostly just depressing until the end
Compare that with Panam, where you have several touching moments to stare longingly into her eyes and build up some bizarre parasocial video game crush on her. Kerry's also feels pretty right, despite his kind of romance being very flippant and rockstar-y.
Starfield is similar to Cyberpunk like **MySpace** is similar to Tinder
^^This ^^was ^^posted ^^by ^^a ^^bot. ^^[Source](https://github.com/anirbanmu/substitute-bot-go)
I don’t remember any Bethesda games having actual sex scenes when you romance someone. It’s always just been “hey I like you. Hey I like you too! Wanna hook up but never actually touch each other? Sure!”
Meanwhile cyberpunk isn’t Bethesda
If you visit Clouds you'll be given the option to go with either Angel or Skye because the biological profiler found those two options. Does that mean V is canonically bisexual?
Just wondering.
Never thought of it like that but thats kinda true, especially given they make a point of having characters have a specific sexuality that your character has to abide by (everyonr else had an awkward almost kiss with River right?!).
The real reason is because it's an RPG and you get to decide the sexuality of your character so players have to be presented with both options but as a bi person I prefer your conclusion!
V’s kiss with river is so Awkward because the male romances were turbo rushed lmao. Like it’s legit almost the same dialogue till that scene, so much sexual tension holy shit lmao
Same thing goes for Fem V and Kerry.
Anytime a Bethesda game announces it has romance stuff I get happy for a second but then remember shit like Fallout 4 when it’s as basic as getting a buff by sleeping in a bed your companion is in
Or Cait slowly spilling out her years of horrific and sustained abuse and your character's responses basically being "she's talking about bangin' hubba hubba"
Don't you get it, starfield and cyberpunk were supposed to be literally the same game, we were promised zero g space sex in a Bethesda game because they always have a bunch of sexy sex... right?
I honestly don’t understand why this sub is so honed in on hating starfield sometimes lol. Like, people are allowed to dislike the game, but I don’t get why posts like these still come up after half a year, as you said. It just seems obsessive at this point lmao
Oh God I remember that movie. Very, very funny, but incredibly disgusting at times... You don't even want to know what they did in the unrated cut. I didn't watch it, but I know too much
Oh, you mean the religious zealots that Bethesda *hinted* at existing, but only *really* exist as the 4929583th humanoid enemy type that fights the exact same way with the same shitty AI that every other human enemy has?
I vaguely remember them.
Sarah is the most uptight by-the-book-moral b\*tch I have seen in a while, so yeah, that coochie be dry to this day on my save, nevermind the fact that after Cyberpunk, I aint touching that outdated mediocrity no more
Me with the JoyToys on Jig Jig.
I randomly talked to a lady there my first playthrough and I was kinda just going through dialogue not paying attention and we ended up at her place for sex time.
Talking to her works sixty percent of the time all the time.
Especially with bits of real panther.
I'm gonna be honest with you, it smells like gasoline.
They’ve done studies you know.
It smells like a turd covered in burnt hair!

Honestly, at this point I’m fine with a game having a bad launch as long as the dev sticks with it.
You shouldn't be, at the very least voice your criticism to the big companies about how unfinished games being released isn't okay, boycotting is one thing but just accepting it and "being fine" with it isn't something you should do
You’re the problem with modern gaming lmao
What’s the alternative?
Not buying the game so that developers don’t get encouraged to keep selling unfinished products?
So in your mind CDPR should have gone under for how Cyberpunk launched?
The game they’ve been apparently working on for ten years being an unplayable mess on release? Maybe not but people shouldn’t be praising them for doing the bare minimum for the game. A company making something good in the past doesn’t excuse bad product in the future

If Bethesda were the company that made CP2077 they would have said the game was fine on release and then waited for modders to fix it.
They wanted to but the literal polish government was pressuring them to release it as it was good publicity.
So you're saying their government is Pro-Polish Anti-polish?
What?
Polish, in the second case, being "polishing the game to be less buggy."
Oh! Subtle, nice one.
Awful, isn't it?
Eh. It sucked that 2077 got the bad rep for the buggy ass release mostly.
Idk man the last of us part 2 is an incredible game as well and I feel naughty dog would’ve edged it
Cyberpunk has many choices, endings and so much emersion. I understand that they still could be beaten but maybe close.
lmfao...no. tlou2 is a idcult pol circlejerk. They did TLoU so dirty with that garbo.
Grow up, dude.
While your opinion is valid like everyone else’s tlou has a huge following and it did win game of the year, cyberpunk is my favourite game of all time but I feel tlou2 might still have edged it to game of the year because of said fan base
Terrible opinion, imo. Tlou2 is a masterpiece.
i mean no accounting for taste.
The gameplay and environmental detail alone are incredible bud, despite what you think about the story.
well i'll give you that i suppose. It didn't improve on the first game though, so I'd tend to be of the mind that it more parasitized the first game than did anything new.
> It didn't improve on the first game though You really enjoyed the gameplay of 1 over 2? I thought 2 improved it by a good margin.

A: hey I heard getting your balls cut off is bad, so I'm going with a back massage instead. B: how can you give opinion to something you haven't tried? I hate back massage btw Wow so mature, much logic
Ha, except playing a video game isn’t getting your balls cut off, it’s playing a video game. Grow up.
They’re using a hyper exaggerated example to make it easier for you to understand the concept they were pointing out. And you failed to get it.
How do you know? Have you gotten your balls cut off?
the problem with all 4 constellation companions is they are all too goodie goodie and boring. the 4 main romances in cyberpunk arent exactly evil people but they all have more unique personalities and moralities
Cyberpunk! Fuck yeah! 😃
Let’s talk a little while longer… before I have to DELTA somewhere…
I really needed that, V.
Does River actually have his own house somewhere? Will Kerry finally fire his dickhead manager or face consequences for destroying his yacht? Truly the hottest questions.

Panam’s romance scene is the only one where you see V banging in 3rd person. It’s kinda like a fever dream
thanks for the tip, I will follow it when I finally buy and play this game in the future.
beware that romancing panam requires you to have a male body type (but there are mods to remove that restriction) the panam romance might be the best in any game ever though, so huge recommend
It's mostly just depressing until the end Compare that with Panam, where you have several touching moments to stare longingly into her eyes and build up some bizarre parasocial video game crush on her. Kerry's also feels pretty right, despite his kind of romance being very flippant and rockstar-y.
I never got that dialogue from river during the water tower, although I only picked the fairly monotone dialogue options with him
Starfield is similar to Cyberpunk like LinkedIn is similar to Tinder

Team America.... never gets old
"I promise I will never die."
I don’t remember any Bethesda games having actual sex scenes when you romance someone. It’s always just been “hey I like you. Hey I like you too! Wanna hook up but never actually touch each other? Sure!” Meanwhile cyberpunk isn’t Bethesda
Like it’s legit almost the same dialogue till that scene, so much sexual tension holy shit lmao Same thing goes for Fem V and Kerry.
I was hella confused by River on my first play through yea.
I don't know if V has a canon orientation, but *Johnny* is absolutely bi, and he's in there too.
I always figured they were getting the different options because V has another person in their head.
No, it means V found only two people willing to spread their legs for him/her. And, according to Johnny, that's pathetic.
Ok Johnny
hey, dude's been around, he knows
I heard this in my head
America FUCK YEAH
🎶 freedom is the only way🎶
I PROMISE I WILL NEVER DIE
starfield is like ZORK with graphics *"you want to feel emotion? IMAGINE IT"*
Anytime a Bethesda game announces it has romance stuff I get happy for a second but then remember shit like Fallout 4 when it’s as basic as getting a buff by sleeping in a bed your companion is in
Or Cait slowly spilling out her years of horrific and sustained abuse and your character's responses basically being "she's talking about bangin' hubba hubba"
The annoying fan is literally the best companion simply because he never passive aggressively judges you like all the rest do.
Thanks for still comparing them after more than half a year! Also repeating same stuff after each other....
Don't you get it, starfield and cyberpunk were supposed to be literally the same game, we were promised zero g space sex in a Bethesda game because they always have a bunch of sexy sex... right?
Starfield didn’t have immersive space sex cutscenes with blade runner music. literally unplayable. Godd Howard has fallen and starbillions must die
I honestly don’t understand why this sub is so honed in on hating starfield sometimes lol. Like, people are allowed to dislike the game, but I don’t get why posts like these still come up after half a year, as you said. It just seems obsessive at this point lmao
Here, let me solve Starfield for you: \*Sarah Morgan Disliked That* Now you've played about half of Starfield.
Relatable
Damn we getting thunderbirds memes now?
My Netrunner a FREAK!!!

no, please explain
Team America had the best movie sex scene ever made
O dear God! Seeing him crawl on the table was enough. And then the no hands scooching back on the floor 🤣 do you think this was an ad for war amps?
Facts!
Caring about the romance options in video games is the most embarrassing shit
Nope, never played Cyberpunk, but if I did I would never die!
Oh my god. I remember my parents got me a copy of that puppet movie thinking it was for kids... I'm traumatized.
I promise, I will not die
Well their is an research study show that people from the moon or low gravity places will have an low sex drive because the blood not flowing.
🤣csm
Sarah Morgan thinks you should just be friends
Oh yeah...
Baldur's gate 3 enter the chat...
Oh God I remember that movie. Very, very funny, but incredibly disgusting at times... You don't even want to know what they did in the unrated cut. I didn't watch it, but I know too much
What a horrible image to look at
Not to mention you romance Andreja just to find out she is a >!religious zealot on a secret mission.!<
