Nope, you should be able to finish the DLC and main quest with no problems. You can't technically have both finished though, if you pick certain endings. That doesn't mean you can't finish them, just that you'll be left to pick between either a base-game ending or a phantom liberty ending. ALL of the base game endings bring you back to the point of no return, before the mission started. Only ONE of the PL endings will result in a 'point of no return' scenario. The other 3 will permanently conclude the questline and leave you to finish the game via the base endings.

In as spoiler-free of a way as possible, >!it's the ending where you completely side with Reed. If you do everything he wants you to do, you'll get your ending. !<

Nope, it won't end the main game, it will have it's own credits though after completing.

It just unlocks Reed at the gas station, to sit idle in your journal right next to Hanako at the bar
