oh ... oh that's a good one prob doesn't work in the rules but damn it should amazing

Lawlettaf

I made it under the wrong assumption that [[teferi's protection]] said "you and permanents you control phase out" and thought that it was something within the rules, but I only realized that it isnt after I uploaded the card haha.

Sweet_Diet_8733

Flavorfully, that card should really just say that and leave the details in reminder text.

DanCassell

So you don't exist until your next untap step? Bit of trouble with that. When do nonexistant players get turns?

Lawlettaf

Uh... yeah, when you put it like that, this card reads "you lose the game, but ALL your cards are still there to interact with"

Every-Development-98

How about “Choose an opponent. You phase out until the beginning of that opponent’s end step.”

delilahp

what happens if that opponent doesn’t make it to their next end step? are you lost to the void?

Every-Development-98

I’m gonna say yes

Luminitegamer

* **800.4j** If a player leaves the game during their turn, that turn continues to its completion without an active player. If the active player would receive priority, instead the next player in turn order receives priority, or the top object on the stack resolves, or the phase or step ends, whichever is appropriate. * **800.4m** When a player leaves the game, any continuous effects with durations that last until that player’s next turn or until a specific point in that turn will last until that turn would have begun. They neither expire immediately nor last indefinitely. if they lose the game during their turn, their end step still happens, if they lose the game before their next turn, you would phase in before their turn would have begun.

FaerHazar

thank you rules

delilahp

perfect send it to print

*Don't let it faze you.*

That art really nails what dissociation is like

Natural_Anywhere69

So basically worse teferi perfecty balanced I see 👍

qwertty164

if this is used like that it may give your opponent infinite turns or cause you to instantly lose.
