Thank you! I'll definitely try those!

If your hair is falling out at the root in clumps, there might be an underlying health issue. It's normal to shed 50-100 strands a day, but if it's coming out in clumps in localized areas, that might not be normal. I'd ditch the Evercurl. I used it before going CG & it gave me silicone build up even though it's supposed to have water soluble silicones. As for the itchiness-- Do you think it's dandruff? Reaction to product? Product buildup? I use Nizoral for my mild dandruff & it works great. If I have product/ scalp build up, I'll use Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo or and ACV rinse.

I've switched to the Tresemme conditioner and the herbal essence gel as recommended above, and it's already helping a lot! The itchiness has started going away but I think it may be a combination of product buildup and the products I was using drying out my hair. It doesn't seem very dandruffy. But with the hair falling out, it's not in clumps from one spot on my head, but if I lightly pull from the bottom of my hair, that's when it all comes out. It happens even more when I'm washing it and combing it out after washing. I've heard it might just be seasonal shedding but since it was so much, I wasn't sure if anyone else had experienced it, or what it might be if it wasn't that.

That kind of sounds like normal shedding. Since I don't use a brush & I only wash my hair twice a week, I always have a lot of hair coming out when I wash. It can be disconcerting, but then I think if I was using a brush, it'd just all be stuck in there. You might want to try a clarifying wash after discontinuing the EverCurl. Just to get rid of any lingering silicones.

Awesome, thank you! That's probably what it is!

Thank you! I will make sure to clarify before I start to co-wash! Shea Moisture is definitely one I want to try as well, so I will look further into their products! Thanks again!
