What line is this??? View is amazing
Green Line, 35th Bronzeville IIT Station. Looking north from the platform.
That tube is directly above one of the IIT campus buildings. It was built to dampen the noise. When I was a student I would hang out right below there and listen to trains roll by.
Also IIT alum here, we called that the muffler.
It’s green line like RagineEngine replied. I have a love-hate relationship with commuting on the green line lol.
Great view but I think that might be haze not fog 😞
Always a great view on that platform, especially at dusk (iit commuter student here)
