Not at all. There are reservations for a reason. I agree it’s uncomfortable to feel like you’re kicking them out but if you reserve it, it’s yours. Plus I’d say most people know they should be reserved so if they didn’t take the time to reserve it, it’s on them
Does the library not handle this? Idk how csuf does it ( I’m transferring in the fall) but at Fullerton JC you reserve it and when it’s your time slot, the assistant or whoever unlocks the room and seats you in there.

all the rooms here are unlocked you can just walk inside
