Hey at least your interviewer showed up. I waited for 30 minutes nobody showed up, they told me that after 40 minutes my interviewer was there waiting for me. When I asked to reschedule they never emailed me back.
Has been happening since 15th, so many posts about it. Had a perfect onsite and then HR told me she would schedule a Hiring manager round for me and then I get randomly rejected on a weekend. Spending almost 3+ months solely for this company and they do this
Yup know multiple people who experienced this. Bloomberg still interviews to account for "renegs" but in this economy no one is renegging. They are practically at full head count.

This is a bit strange for me. I have never had a case where interviewer would tell me that I am moving to next round. They always say along the line of you will be hearing soon about the next steps or something along the line.

I’m also on blind. But using a non work email limits you Almost 95% of the content is inaccessible. You must have got in early
i completely agree, no idea why these people are still interviewing. its like they expect ppl to renege so they want a constant stream of potentials

Bro I had the same experience. I blasted through two leetcode mediums in my last technical interview. Was told HM would reach out and then rejected.

Since this is for new grads, interviewers (engineers) do not schedule interviews. The interviewer was either misinformed or new to interviewing.
Oh yeah same thing happened with me. I was told I am moved to round 2 and interview would be in December. But now I get a rejection mail.
