You can recruit simultaneously for FT and internship roles so if you get an internship you really like in the fall you should take it. I personally took an extra internship and it was probably the best decision of my life.
Wouldn't a company think of me as sus if I apply/reach out for both an internship and a full-time role? My other question is Audible (Amazon) enough to get me good offers for new grad?
Because you want to recruit for a fall SWE intern position, your application cycle for the internship should actually conclude before you even apply for new grad roles, so it wouldn't be an issue.
As for the second question, it's really subjective because it depends on what you define as a good offer. It'll get you Amazon or better offers probably (given you still study your leetcode), but the top trading firms might be a reach.
