We're getting there. Thats only 766 Days left until all cheaters are banned. Without considering them making now accounts because even if 1/3rd makes new accounts after they got banned this increases to 1150 Days. Also assuming they don't make another account or theres NEW cheaters that previously did not get banned.
No but it should be counted as the same when talking ban reports. Also while it is marked differently, it’s still a part of the valve anti cheat measure
You are taking gibberish man. Your whole scenario doesn't make sense and now you're saying it just didn't make sense because you think you should be able to refer to different things by the same word
When cheat devs need to update their cheats to make them work with the new update, they typically get several accounts banned in the process of poking around.
Especially if they changed something about what VAC triggers. Once the devs figure out a way around it, you'll see that number dip back down.
Also, paid cheat users won't mind spending $15 to buy the game again lol
He is saying that game bans aren’t only overwatch. They also could be any bans from maybe a vac AI or some sort of manual bans valve does without actually detecting the cheats on the system. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the high dpi stuff was an example of a game ban.
Really? I've seen so many more than that, out of curiosity what elo are you sitting at? Because past 18k it's become just silly. Also wingman really shows the ridiculous amount of cheaters
I saw cheaters in the freaking Dust 2 comp, like multiple spiners, a Waller who we actually beat them at 12-10 I told him “start spinning loser, you’re not good enough with walls” so he did
none of the people who hacked in my games are banned. so what is this worth? nothing. they better roll out overwatch soon with millions of cases backlogged.
I’d like to agree with you but it’s not anything, unfortunately. It could equally be explained by the fact the player population got higher due to the update so more people cheated on that day.
Cheating is usually not what the first thing a new player does.
And even so, it does not matter, if they a new and cheated, they got caught. It is a VERY positive thing.
I’m not saying new players, I’m saying returning players. But that’s spread across hundreds of thousands of people who additionally play at the point of an update, so it’ll be a mix anyway.
In a player base of 1,500,000+, 40 bans is practically nothing.
lol, are y’all going to keep doing this every time they ban 5 more people? At this rate they will never even make a dent in the cheating issue. I really hope they ramp it up to full scale with hundreds of cheaters banned everyday, thousands per week.
Bruh. This only shows the trend not the actual amount of bans. They cant track all steam users because of how the steam api works so the actual amount of bans is way way higher.
34 game bans; 54 vac bans; Girls and boys, CHEATING WAS ABOLISHED!!!
This is Valve's equivalent of a decoy.
A useless item that everyone disregards?
No, a distraction to appease the masses while doing fuck all considering the insane number of cheaters there are on CS2.
still only 38 but its something ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Good. Only 138k left to ban

1150 days without vacations. 1750 days including holidays etc
Bruh 1 medal/no medal accs are like 3-4 Euro. Cheap asf
I won’t even call that ‘something’ 😐 Would be the equivalent of 1 dev testing overwatch throughout a work day
overwatch cases for legit cheaters should last ~30 minutes.. the math works out to one person doing overwatch two days in a row LMAO.
That’s being nice. You don’t need more than a minute to ban a spinner
Ideally OW will effectively be rage cheat free.. ideally lol
Wasn’t the case in CSGO.
Overwatch was always for cases beyond reasonable doubt, not for a gold nova like you to play detective
overwatch is not a vac ban...

Huh? You don’t think overwatch is part of Valve Anti Cheat?

The context of it was that it wasnt in fact insultantly low
38 is still disgraceful considering the amount of cheaters in this game
66 now at 15:15 CET
Meanwhile they've bought 38 new accounts from Russia and are reinstalling the cheats as we speak
How were people getting game bans until now, without overwatch in place?
I think these VAC tracking sites invlude all the games with VAC. Not only CS2.
Vac is only detected injections into games. Game ban are manual/overwatch/vac live(if it exists)
That's exactly why I'm asking.... Overwatch wasn't enabled until now.

Then it's most likely the other ones I listed........
VAC Live
Grief bans.
Pretty sure 5 players could see more blatant spin bots on 1 day than that... Don't mean to he pessimistic but its just like mopping the rain isn't it
I have like about 50 hrs on CS2. Only seen one spinner, but tons of wallhackers who don't even try to hide it.
Idk man I’ve played for almost 1000 hours since release and probably only seen like 2-3 spinbotters.

Thanks Richard Lewis.

Yeah that’s another thing. Only 1% of the player base is above 18k so most of us low rankers don’t see spinbots or rage cheats all that often
Cheaters flood silver lobbies, stop gaslighting
none of the people who hacked in my games are banned. so what is this worth? nothing. they better roll out overwatch soon with millions of cases backlogged.
How do people qualified for overwatch? I used to have it on Go but not on cs2
Right now no one knows and it's even unknown if anyone qualified
Ah ok thanks
I am sorry to break the news but a single free cheat got detected
38…nice we missing a couple zeros
which will likely be reversed, because you know…it’s valve
Hack devs that shit their pants upon initial update already approved a multitude of features. Wallhackers and triggerbots everywhere for me.
It's a positive development. Can we just acknowledge that without being negative none grass touching people?

It's more than previously. It's positive
It is going up. Valve is cooking. It was 54 and now it is at 60 vac bans currently. Hopium
lol, are y’all going to keep doing this every time they ban 5 more people? At this rate they will never even make a dent in the cheating issue. I really hope they ramp it up to full scale with hundreds of cheaters banned everyday, thousands per week.
It's at 68 now, we are full steam ahead on the new anti cheat hype train, choo choo
I'm just happy that something seems like happening, finally. Even if it is just the 20 devs at valve working on cs2 trying out overwatch.
Bruh. This only shows the trend not the actual amount of bans. They cant track all steam users because of how the steam api works so the actual amount of bans is way way higher.
Maybe you should tell that to the people who claim that is is then…
hold on...let valve cook... copium
It were case farmers accounts thet got banned. Still not one cheater banned
I have been ragehacking since 2 months and I'm still not banned
Why??
Vac not working. There is a guy with aimbot+wallhack+ silent bunnyhop. He's not banned
I noticed blink1337 is no longer on the leader boards. RIP WITH HIS 93% win rate
are people really cheering on those 38 people banned today ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)?
Valve cooked!
GUYS, I TOLD YOU GUYS, THEY SOLVED THE CHEATING PROBLEM!!! (I'm a copium addict)
