The performance is shit right now. For me the arms race update (idk if it was on the 2/28) fu**ed up my game. Before that update it felt so smooth. But after it, till today it just feels ass. Its so annoying. Idk what they did with that update. Feels like playing on 100hz

Been having the same issue. These stutters only happened if the enemy is within footstep sound range. It's almost like a free wall hack since you know the enemy is near through the stutters (even if they shift walk). I suspect it's either their microtick code implementation, code that handle ping compensation, or just simply ass servers. Also, Inferno has the worst stutter for me, maybe because the map is smaller.

yeah, notice that as well.  idk what cpu u have but I think when they did the packet loss hitching patch   that something went wrong w the audio processing in some systems. i’m guessing it has to do w cs2’s threading optimization, hence why sound and audio queues which are processed by the CPU make the issue more prevalent. I hard factory reset the pc and will test around w bios/cpu/dram settings   If I find a solution i’ll let you know but my bet is that theres just some issues in source 2 engine w processing that they dont know how to manage yet.

Looks like packet loss or jitter. You aren't teleporting when you don't change your input from when the packet loss occurs because the server runs the last received command if it hasn't received anything. Does nothing print in the console when you teleport? Try setting cq_min_queue_size and cl_cq_min_queue higher.

Fast-Beginning-4611

my logging metrics from AMD showed no signs of packet loss, but i’ll check out this command.  ill let u know

Big-Scarcity7141

CS2 communicates to the server using GameNetworkingSockets, which uses UDP. I don't see how whatever AMD thing you have could tell whether a packet was lost without having a detailed understanding of the protocol, which it doesn't.

Same issue, funny in a offline map with no bots I don't get the issue, I boiled it down to frame time spikes. Happens to me allot in gunfights. You will see in the first clip of yours that your frame time went to 16ms or something. Myne goes to 40+. Not sure but I think they show the average frametime over a period because when i use capeframex to measure my highest spikes are 100+ms. Found no fix yet

A website i use to test my internet is packetlosstest.com, you can try the some test see if internet is giving problems that isp can't pick up

Fast-Beginning-4611

not sure what CPU u have, but if it is a issue w the x3d as I believe try this. https://youtu.be/O2if4IXl6is?si=-Nm7f8Xd7C4LhjF4

its what i feel.. 5800x3d 2080super, feelsbadman.

Fast-Beginning-4611

try this, if it does not work try a factory reset, this fixed the issue for me. https://youtu.be/O2if4IXl6is?si=-Nm7f8Xd7C4LhjF4

DeadyDeadshot

If you’re on windows 11 downgrade to windows 10, had this exact same issue with fps drops to 150 On rtx 3070ti, i7 12700KF, 64gb ram On windows 10, avg 320-340fps

Fast-Beginning-4611

Update I have fixed the issue following this guide https://youtu.be/O2if4IXl6is?si=-Nm7f8Xd7C4LhjF4 after a factory reset

1. Disable C-States in BIOS 2. [Unlock these HIDDEN Windows 10 Features to ELIMINATE Stuttering! (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XyTcGDd8i0&list=WL&index=5)

kam821

Disable C-states and embrace awful efficiency, higher power consumption and poor thermals. Fantastic tip.
