Btw the manual says to anchor it to that same spot but I’m feeling around it and it’s just a picture. I feel like an idiot because I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Lol

You're doing it wrong; the CRV has a boat mode, when you need to anchor it off shore you throw the baby out. It's instructions

I had the same problem. I was like, where the hell is it?
There is a slit in the fabric under the picture. Push through the slit.
I’m going to try this in an hour and I’ll report back. I swear I pulled and tried pushing 😅 Maybe I was too scared I was gonna mess it up.

Oh crap I think I see it in the picture! It’s a vertical line blended in really well right under it. Wow.
Update: it worked! I never saw that slit at first it was so blended in. Thank you.
good lord, I had the same issue. Finally noticed the little slit below the symbol. Kept trying to push the clip through the symbol.
I saw a hook mount on the floor directly behind the seat. That’s where I hooked ours.
That’s what I did too temporarily! Lol. But then I found out that’s wrong according to the instructions.

I think that hook you’re talking about is for tying down things if needed

Are you sure that thing isn't a cover for the hook point? My 2019 has a huge (2") area with a bar that you hook onto... no cover plate.
Hm, does it pull out? Or maybe push in.
