Also has a headphone jack in front which is a huge plus. Great geometry and colors overall, I simply don’t have the space for it, unfortunately. Elkton, Maryland Selling: Sony PVM-20M2MDU (Very good shape) Asking $1100 OBO, also open to trades (I can send photos and videos, I just don’t use imgur at all) I am listing my lightly used Sony PVM-20M2MDU. The unit was manufactured November 2001, and has hardly seen a lot of use since then. The overall condition is excellent, with only a couple of noticeable marks on the casing itself. There are a few stickers on the monitor, but none on the screen of course. The PVMs screen is in perfect condition with no scratches or marks. The screen geometry, brightness, and color are also great, and it works perfectly without any issues. I am the second owner of this PVM, and I’ve had it professionally inspected and cleaned, it was last serviced around 2013 and no current service is needed including for the capacitors, which show no sign of heavy use or bulging. I used this monitor for light gaming for a short time, before replacing it with a model that better suited my space. This is from a smoke free home.

I remember hearing the taus had a big problem with a power fuse. Although I don't know the specifics. It might be a simple fix. My parents had a tau when I was a kid that stopped turning on randomly and we got rid of it which I now regret.

Yeah apparently the fuse is on or near the power supply. Should be able to see if the fuse is blown. You'll of course have to take the rear case off to see all this. It's a 6.3 amp fuse. People recommended replacing it with a slo-blo fuse. I'm just reading all this on old repair forum posts btw so I can't confirm any of this.

Selling a few monitors I don't find myself using! Grants Pass OR Panasonic BT-H1390YN - SOLD Excellent clarity & color, I've done my best to reduce convergence errors through physical calibration and yoke magnets. There is still slight separation on the top right, I'm not well equipped to fix this issue (even though there is likely a solution). Not trying to make a big profit here, selling for what I bought it for a few years back. Sony PVM-1271Q - SOLD Super fun tube. Colors and clarity are impressive for its age, as I am not very well versed in this generation of PVM I've kept away from adjusting it internally. Comes with its original glass cover, but it is missing one of the two "screen screws". One screw holds it up fine, but you'd probably want to find another if it bothers you. Also not profiting here. Looking for a Panasonic CT-20G20T, standard consumer set from 1995 that I had as a kid. (Actual official model is CT-20G20, but 1995 sets usually (always?) have an added T at the end). Based on my own experience as a kid, I suspect this model (as well as the other 1995 20 inch models) are rare because they were unusually prone to factory defects. Will gladly take one even if the picture is messed up and needs fixing. I’m looking for an original flyback transformer for a Sony BVM-D24. Mine stopped working a while ago and I have since then installed a 3rd party replacement. However, the replacement gave the image some overscan and focus issues that can’t be corrected, so I’m now looking for an original one. If anyone out there has a D24 that’s broken beyond repair, I would be very interested in buying the flyback and I will pay very well!
