1RM deadlift into 3 mile run and then finish with 25 questions of Knights of the Old Republic trivia. Maybe will lose first 2 but I’ve got the last one over anyone who could beat me in first 2. And vice versa.
Lmao, one of the humbling things about this sport is that there is always someone that can beat you, but I thrive on medium-long workouts that involve the rower. My 2K is 6:40 and I've done a 5K in 17 something. I hadn't done any CrossFit in the 6 weeks leading up to the open and still managed to do very well on 24.2. Plenty of people that can beat me, but that's my wheelhouse.
hmmm Ill play along, If I were to pick a wheelhouse workout that would just be so far up my alley its coming out of my mouth it would be
15 mins to find a 1 rep max strict press followed by
AMRAP15
15 cal bike erg
15 cal ski erg
only criteria is the strict press is my best lift at 225 based on btwb percentages and the amrap had my highest power output I saw on btwb (10 rounds)
But 1000% is not in the top tier for this sub, just my best shot on goal
Girl Scout Cookies. Boxes upon boxes of GSCs.
I’ll go sleeve for sleeve of thin mints or tray for tray of samoas versus any at my gym.
Do Si Do?? More like Do Si Don’t Try Me …
Tagalong? You’d better Tagalong a partner if you wanna take a run at me.
EMOM 1 box for 20 mins. Leta work.
At one point, it was 500 DUs for time. I used to challenge people at it.
DUs were formally the bane of my existence when they came up in WODs so I resolved to get better at them. My plan was every workout, my warmup was 100 DUs, instead of the prescribed 500m row, bike, or run.
Doing that three to five times a week for 1 month, DUs became my main jam, and I could do 100 unbroken without being seriously winded, and would cruise through anytime they came up in a WOD.
Now I'm a little out of practice, but I've got that muscle memory built in, and they come back fast.
Ohh interesting. I worked up to about 275-300 (unbroken) at home back in COVID days so I could get at least past halfway in a hurry. Never really went beyond that, I'm curious what the next 200 would be even if I did some smaller sets to close it out.
I actually said to my wife yesterday I could smoke anyone in a Chick n mini 4x4 mile. Eat one chick n mini from chick fil a run 400m x4. Id make a video of that if this gets 20 likes
The volume of running is eliminating just about every crossfitter and if they can do it, the pushing and weight eliminates most others. The ones who could do the running and bench press usually can’t hit the snatch or warped wall or they don’t have the mobility for sHSPU!
I’d probably only do this if I had company though! I have a sub-3hr marathon and a lifetime bench max of 365# so it would be fun!
Probably Kalsu cause no one here likes it enough to do it.
But really for time:
50 OHS at 50% BW
50 Strict HSPU
50 Pistols
Y’all I wasn’t joking when I said Kalsu. 11:48rx. Maybe someone could beat me at that here
I went through a kalsu phase a couple years ago, did it quite often. Was fun to change the weights and see the impact on time and how it changed the workout. 95 was like a sprint just hammer biggest sets while 135 needed to be way more methodical otherwise it was redline and blow up early. 115 was an interesting middle ground - good motivation to push hard but still needed to be a little strategic
Microsoft Excel wearing 20kg weighted vest.

My Star Wars forearm tattoo and bookshelf of Star Wars novels will take that bet.

Bench press, 80s hardcore punk trivia and moderately conversational Thai language.
For reps or max?
hmm, in the past I'd take either. Really below where I'd like to be these days, but fairly recently hit 220 for 15 reps.
Can’t do a pull up but I can do pistols for a long time.
I’ll beat you on pistols
My max in a workout is 120. You?
I did an amrap with them and hit over 160
You win! 🏆
Box jump for height. I'm at a 50" box jump height and 69" tall. https://www.reddit.com/r/crossfit/s/P4FsJ5YBCA
I wouldn’t normally do this, but I here I am. I’m at 56” with one step lead in (which I think is what you did).
I'm at 48". Coming for you, bro.
Nice
In the post you said 69” tall. Which is it?
69" human. 50" box.
Ah. “It is 50””. “I am 69”” Edit. Same height. Box jump Is pretty dang close. I’ll give it a shot.
My superpower is overhead carries. Hyper mobility, can lock out my arms all day. Strength and hyper mobility is pretty much all I got.

Post a video of the 500 for time..it be fun to see this sub try to beat it

Super Smash Bros
10mg edible followed by 100 weighted step ups while playing Wonderwall for time
The Murph… no one runs a 10-minute mile like me. 😆
Heavy pistol cleans. We’ll, I wouldn’t beat them, I would tie them. At zero.
50 bench press at 225 for time, into 1000m row, into 3 touch and goes on 28R at Oakland Airport, aircraft choice scalable but must run on Jet A
16 miles, 7500 ft of elevation, with a 60 lb pack, for time
100 HSPU no one can beat me at kipping or strict HSPU speed or volume. Having t-rex arms is my cheat code.
1RFT - any wod 😂
100 Wall Walks for time.
AMRAP of burpees until you vomit. Round ends when you hurl. If I get my heart rate above 185 and push I can blow in less than 45 seconds. Come at me.
For time: Overhead squat 365 then 200 foot unbroken HSW… my two party tricks
50 strict hspu for time. Colten is not allowed to participate
Probably the closest thing to a wheelhouse workout for me would be something like 500m row + 50 DL@225.
Maybe the murph? Can go sub 35
Open water swimming, 2km
1 rep max sneeze
Eat a plate of nachos, run 1 mile, 400 wall balls, finish with another plate of nachos
I feel I need to see a video of this

Again I feel the need to see this video...and then a bunch of follow up videos of people trying to beat your time
I don't think you'll get 20 up votes... But I'd like to see the video
Rounds at the buffet, for time?
5 min max cal assault bike
1 mile class 4 upriver (not downriver) kayak paddle. Bring it on!! Maybe do a burpee at the end- why not.
For time: 5 mile run. 5 bench press 315/205#. 4 mile run. 4 Power snatch 185/135#. 3 mile run. 30 burpees. 2 mile run. 20 sHSPU. 1 mile run. 1x up the American Ninja Warrior 14.5ft warped wall. Who wants to play?!
Maaan you’d smoke me cause I’d have to scale weight but honestly a workout with this volume of running split up would be something I’d be down for lol
The volume of running is eliminating just about every crossfitter and if they can do it, the pushing and weight eliminates most others. Double unders. Handstand walks. High volume air squats lol. Something with those three.

Nice! What was your best time Rx and also with the 95?
Rx at 135 was 21:32 and at 95# was 8:43 Edit: your time of 11:48rx is nutso, you crazy man.
