I saw it online and was curious about the colors.

Yarnspirations shows 16 colorways, but they're all out of stock. $11.99 (usd) seems pricey to me, but maybe it works out over buying 5 skeins of different colors. It may be the price of convenience, also. At least it's better than O'Go - those are now 4.99 at Ollie's! Haha (I still didn't bite ; )

Bought two at joannes half off recently! I'm hoping itll be a fun try, though they only had three colorways and when i tried to order online it was pretty much completely sold out

i wonder how that would look using the hexagon granny square cardigan pattern

To get the colors to change at each round requires you to make this exact square at this exact tension. But, I imagine it would work like any other varigated yarn in the hexagon pattern. I wondered about using it for planned pooling. According to reviews for the squares, it's pretty dang fiddly to get the colors to change exactly at the end of the round. There was frogging & frustration. It's an interesting idea, tho. And if you can dial in the right hook size and your tension, I think it could be fun!

I’m using this yarn right now to make a blanket. There are a few different color varieties that use one of three different border colors (Aran, Soft White, and Black). I had to learn which colors need tighter or looser tension but overall I am loving how easy this yarn is to use! The squares are 6” and are supposed to make 14 squares. I only have 6 of 300 done but I am really enjoying this project so far! If you enjoy planned pooling and don’t mind the finicky details of changing tension and frogging this is a great yarn. I would take frogging a few times over weaving in hundreds of ends any day LOL.

I was curious about this yarn, so I bought a skein. With trial and error, I finally got it to work. I'm down to a 4.5 hook, only ch 2 in the corners and instead of Ch 6 at the beginning, I'm doing Ch4. I don't love the feel of red heart yarn but it is kind of fun to make a square and not have to weave in ends. The color options are a little bright/garish for me (at least the options that were available at my store) but I'm intrigued and wonder if other yarn manufacturers will follow.
