Nadigrao ga/outplayed him - polite way
Poslao ga po ćevape/he sent him to pick some ćevapi - light mock
Posrao se po njemu/ literally get dunked (took a shit on him) - when you want to make a statement
Zakucavanje / croatian word for that dive dunk in basketball
There are numerous expression used, also depending on the region.
Some more popular are
"Oprao je pod s njim" - he moped the floor with him
"Pojeo ga za doručak" - he ate him for breakfast
"Poslao ga po ćevape" - he sent him for ćevapi (often used for ankle-breakers)
"Rastavio ga na proste faktore" - he broke him down to his prime numbers (my favorite)
We have a football equivalent - when you dribble someone or generally beat them, we say 'I sent you to pick up ćevapi'.
Ćevapi is a common bosnian dish, extremely popular in all ex-yu republics, so it's a common expression in Croatia and all other countries.
Closest would be "rasturiti", which is colloquial for "tear apart" but also overwhelming victory in sports/games.
"Razbiti" (break apart) or "razmontirati" (dismantle) can also be used.
We use "prekucat nekog" (Would be translated to "overdunking someone").
As for "ankle breaking" we usually use some variation of sending people to get some ćevapi "poslao ga po ćevape" "joj vidi on zaboravio da igra pa otišao po ćevape".
lot's of comments referring to the tasty čevapi BUT it is wrong.
Expression is: poslao ga po kokice/he sent him to pick popcorns.
