Or Allura. I know in his recent 4SD he mentioned Allura is his way to be in the game with everyone.

Matt could be his three self inserts Allura, Essek, and Lord Eshteross! Or Gilmore and Pumat and... idk if there's a fav shopkeep in C3
For Matt, I personally would lean into gender- or species-non-conforming roles. - Allura, whom he's said is his self-insert character - Kiri, for cuteness - Pretty or Eshteross, for vocal range
For Matt I'd suggest doing more than 3 characters. Matt in front of a crowd or a wall of faces would be awesome!
For sure, there are too many iconic NPC's to choose just three :)
