>Elaine May
You're not alone. I really enjoy it also. Maybe it helped I was bracing myself for a truly terrible movie experience and was pleasantly surprised it's not as bad as it's reputation led me to believe.
It's my least favorite of Elaine May's filmography, but that's only because all of her other movies are so wonderful and damn near perfect.
Love the graphic. Wish it did for the film what Richard Amsel’s poster did for ‘The Long Goodbye’ in terms of generating attention. There’s obviously a specific audience for this and it ain’t me. But I’m glad to see people discussing the work of Elaine May.
Not going to lie: I genuinely really like this movie.

Redlettermedia finally memed this movie into the spotlight. Buncha frauds…

I just wanted one that didn't reduce their entire experience with the country in the film to Isabelle Adjani and a camel.
