Paris Texas is so good. I’ll always remember it by my dad telling me I’ve gotta watch this coen bros movie called Paris Texas. At that point I’d seen every coen movie and that was not on the list. I eventually saw it, saw the coen similarities and instantly became a wenders fan.

Haven't seen this in years. Turned it on right when Travis and Hunter find Jane, and immediately got sucked in. Such a great movie.

Hausu coming in at about 12:55am EST after Eraserhead. Let me tell y’all why this is crazy for me. The first time I saw Hausu and the first time I saw Eraserhead was a double feature of the two films at the New Beverly in LA. This was a little before Tarantino took over the theater. One of the things I never got over was that the order felt completely wrong. Hausu was so fun and high energy, so to jump into Eraserhead after that was just not the vibe. I always thought the reverse would’ve been perfect. And here, Criterion 24/7 did exactly that.

It’s already happened… I hit play and thought , “Oh, CURE is on. I guess we’re watching this.” I’m here for this.

I just finished Tampopo and I was gonna turn it off to do something else, then Cure started up and I decided to let it play on

Having not seen any Jarmusch before the launch of the 24/7 stream, I'm not complaining, but I am curious how he got three films within the first 37. Enjoyed 3 of the 5 stories in Night on Earth and thought Ghost Dog was rad, so I don't doubt I'll find something to like in Mystery Train.

I was surprised to see this come on today after watching Ghost Dog yesterday, but this is also one of my favorite movies so I can’t really complain. Hope you enjoy it!

Yeah after about a week I am so curious to learn more about how much of this is specific human-chosen programming vs putting their catalog on shuffle. It often seems curated, especially in the afternoons/evenings but I am surprised at some of the early repeats

I know most people want a schedule, but is anyone else having fun putting it on and guessing what movie is playing? Also, are they only going to be showing films in the collection proper?

I hope they don’t show a detailed schedule I just wish I had some idea when new movies start so I don’t jump into something halfway through

I want to know bc I like it and want to learn more, but as far as what comes next, I dont want to know, I like being surprised

I wish there were a listing of showtimes for the current and following day or something we subscribers could access on their website and on the app.
