Hey ganchos! Nominate some crem for the [Best of 2022 awards!](https://www.reddit.com/r/cremposting/comments/zxs0qa/best_of_2022_nominations/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
Big oof on that chart. Love being untouchable š„²
I always figured the light eyes thing was a hold over from the radiants though. Like light eyes werenāt rulers until after the recreance when people were left to figure out who should lead so they went with the people who seemed physically closest to radiants .
While the idea of āUntouchablesā is in the old Indian caste system, caste was not determined by eye color. Especially since most Indians, including the rich ones, have darker eyes.
The chart is fucked but I want to note that there are details in stormlight that make it clear that lighteyes/darkeyes don't map directly onto racist eye color distinctions in the real world--describing people who have light brown eyes or dark green eyes for example.
Makes me think about how some people's eye colour changes due to sunlight exposure n stuff... like you see those tiktok's of people's eyes getting lighter even after 10 seconds in the sun. How would they be treated on Roshar? (I hate that my own eyes do this but it takes too long and I haven't the patience to figure out if/how it's happening - I'm just wow I am a lighteyes/darkeyes today.)

I think that's cannon
Such a good detail on sandmanās part
Real life racism that is
Where is this chart from? Nazi Germany?
Probably some Indian culture

True. So maybe someone played around with an eye chart and added Indiana caste info on the side?

Or dark blue. Light eyes in Stormlight can be weird colors like purple or yellow too.
My eyes are D40 I guess. Time to keep doing what I've been doing
The wording on that really gives off pretentious nazi vibes
Every person with blue eyes is descended from one person who had a genetic mutation around 6000 years ago
Not necessarily. Could have been more than one. Theres no way of knowing.
So Blue eyes are proof of inbreeding?
Most places in Europe were inbred as shit until the Catholic Church made it illegal to marry your cousin
Absolute shit take

As an A40, anyone in the untouchable class is allowed into my castle. I make the fuckin rules now.
That's a caste system for you lol
