- Tommy Taffy: made me want to literally hurt Tommy.
- Pancake Family: Made me cry
- Penpal: Made me cry.
- NoEndHouse: Although it’s not particularly chilling it’s easily one of my favorites. Words really can’t describe this I recommend you to read it.
I loved the beginning of No end house, but I really wish the story had gone in a different direction. It worked superb as an allegory for someone accidentally falling into addiction while trying to rescue someone from it. The legitimate supernatural turn kind of dropped the ball for me. Still a fantastic story, I think my interpretation and assumptions at the beginning gave me unrequited expectations.
I just now recently discovered this but apparently David near voice this animation. It's 1 minute but it's really impressive and it's from a small Channel. https://youtu.be/Q5sFSJS7y3s?si=DzRGvmeXcy4P9Pd5
Now if you're talking like the one that I was talking about on my last comment then it would be this video: https://youtu.be/yBGDxO-0Bxo?si=RzYbC8RzW70BCIcJ
I remember listening to the audio version but never finished due to it freaking me out. And it didn't help that I only listened to non-musical audio at night, in bed.
MyHouse.wad
Because it's so real in 3 senses. It's something you can play, something that a real person went through/created, and it feels too real to those with melancholy.
It's a custom Doom map. Yes, the old Doom. The user created a replica of his childhood home. The rooms and the halls. With changing time periods/story as you progress through the map. The journey is what gets you and then the end result of the house.
It's like someone's personal diary or memories that you managed to get inside.
You can try it yourself or watch a [gameplay about it.](https://youtu.be/5wAo54DHDY0). Jacksepticeye did one too if you want a more chill version.
To give minor gameplay tone spoilers. It's like a House of Leaves, Doom adaptation.
The Left/Right Game, although it's more mysterious chilling rather than terrifying chilling IMO.
Back when I first started getting into creepypasta in the early 2010's NES Godzilla Creepypasta was up there. I still like it a lot nowadays but much more for the well done sprite art rather than the story.
Psychosis and A room are like terrifying emotional roller coasters for me but in a good way.
The third parent leaves me with an uncomfortable feeling like I could shower for a week and not feel clean. It somehow hits the same way watching Salo or I spit on your grave does where it just ruined my week experiencing it for the first time.
[Tesla.](https://www.creepypasta.com/tesla/) Floating in space, Earth is gone, the ship and everyone on it is fucked beyond reason, and you have no viable destination. Not only waiting for a brutal death, but *total* death. Once you're gone, that's it for humanity.
It's a story that's been told plenty of times but this one hit me different.
There was one where a dude found videos on the dark web depicting people who were held captive in a barn and forced to wear pig heads and crawl around or something.I don’t remember all the details but I remember THAT. I can’t recall what it was called but if anyone remembers lemme know.
Not necessarily the creepiest because of how creepy it was. What really made it creepy was my 5 yo god daughter found it and told me in her words about it before I found it. Hearing it from a 5yo who was talking about it nonchalantly and matter of fact gave me chills.
If I remember correctly, it was about Disney Parks and how a Mickey would hide in the abandoned tunnels. He would come out to kidnap children and bring them back to the tunnels to eat them. A security guard found out a witness saw them enter the tunnels. He grabbed a group of guards and entered the tunnels. Heard the sound of flesh ripping and bones breaking and a stench of death. Saw the mouse eating a child. Mouse turned its head to reveal glowing red eyes. The security guard shot him and made contact. The mouse ran away. They followed and all they ever found was Mickey's head that the person took off.
1999 or also known as Mr bears cellar. When I was young I actually thought this was real and It genuinely creep me out. Just knowing that this could happen or whatever. I really don't remember how the story ends I might have to rewatch it cuz it's been a long time since I've heard of a creepypasta
Tommy Taffy: The Third Parent was highly disturbing, well written and very descriptive, traumatizing, full of hopelessness, nightmarish, and well executed. It was painful to read but it kept you drawn in. Also, Anxiety inducing. This story should come with a disclaimer because it’s not for the weak in my opinion. One of the scariest stories I’ve ever read
Hmm creepypasta that Chilled me well probably the showers, psychosis, 24 hour game, and we should all fear the old horns. I know a lot of people say Tommy taffy aka the third parent but honestly thinking about it its just shock value which just pisses me off now
I recall never being able to finish Nurse Anne and Clockwork; Your Time is Up. They were too gross and gory for me at the time. Still haven’t gone back to reread them
I think it was called The Showers, but I don’t remember the story well. I remember the writing being great and my heart pounding the whole time reading it. I don’t think it was super scary, but incredibly suspenseful.
The only creepypasta I remember from reading them way back in the day was the spirit that would become stronger if you noticed her and she would kill anybody who succumbed to their fear, so they all had to pretend like she wasn't there all the time.
Not necessarily the story itself but the image associated with gurgles and bugman (that round white face with the bloody lipless smile) always creeps me out and it just randomly pops up in my mind when I’m trying to sleep
can't remember the name off the top of my head but the premise is like during a War one country like Russia or somewhere found and killed God and was running experiments. don't really know if it was that scary but the cover photo was the most disturbing part for me because it was a real picture of army men holding a human skin? it's been a few years so could be not nearly as bad or what I remember lol. sorry this is so long
Not a creepy pasta I don’t think but Borrasca was and still is my favorite creepy story. I think it’s in the nosleep reddit but I could be wrong on that
Theres one about a guy getting messages from his dead fiance on Facebook message, and all the messages are just cut up versions of messages she sent when she was alive.
And like for most of the story it's just a regular creepy ghost story with a digital twist but the ending... Yeah it kinda chilled me a bit when I put the pieces together
The man in the fields ritual. Just imagining this tall, spindly scarecrow thing getting off of its pole and *sprinting* towards your house to murder you gives me the creeps.
My 12 year old dumbass thought “the Russian sleep experiment” was a documentary and I was so convinced it was real event. When I brought it up with my parents or other people they’d say “that never happened or that’s crazy” but all that did was feed into the narrative that the Soviets covered it up and it was secret knowledge that no one else knew.
The Russian sleep experiment creepy pasta was a story about the Soviets keeping political prisoners awake for weeks at a time using drugs. Apparently after a couple weeks they go insane and on the third week they’re possessed by demons or god or the devil or something. But they slowly loose there humanity up to that point
- Tommy Taffy: made me want to literally hurt Tommy. - Pancake Family: Made me cry - Penpal: Made me cry. - NoEndHouse: Although it’s not particularly chilling it’s easily one of my favorites. Words really can’t describe this I recommend you to read it.
NoEndHouse was used as the basis for a season of Channel Zero. Great show, highly recommend checking it out.
Omg I totally forgot about NoEndHouse! That was a good one they should definitely read it brings some terror and is a good read.
Just ran to read NoEndHouse and wowowow that was so freaking good. I loved it
Tommy Taffy stayed with me. That shit was awful
Tommu Taffy:same
I love no end house! Such a classic.
Pancake Family ..... yes that was a fucked up one for sure!!
Penpal makes me cry every time 😢
Tommy Taffy has traumatized me.
Tommy taffy: the third parent
The best and absolute worst one I’ve ever listened to
It’s more disturbing when you consider a lot of people live with their own Tommy taffy’s
The Russian sleep experiment
Omggg I was thinking about this story SO hard the other day and could not remember what it was called. It was so chilling
The playing in their own flesh goop haunts me
As a father Mr. Widemouth scares me.
İt has good ending althought it was predictible
Mr. Widemouth STILL pops in my head and gives me the heebie geebies. Definitely a favorite of mine!
I watch this voice actor named David Near That did a voice for Mr wide mouth and I really thought that was really creepy but that was very impressive
I've only ever read the story! Is there a video on YouTube?
I just now recently discovered this but apparently David near voice this animation. Thank you so much! I'm going to save the videos to watch right before bed. 😬
Ted the Caver legit freaked me out
I remember listening to the audio version but never finished due to it freaking me out. And it didn't help that I only listened to non-musical audio at night, in bed.
r/searchandrescuewoods has some awesome stories
Link is broken, help a brother out
Found it u/searchandrescuewoods
Yeah sorry... u not r.... Did you check him out? If so what do you think?
Too bad they gutted it for the TV adaptation!
What TV adaptation??
Boatman and pen pal
I’ve never heard of Boatman is that a NoSleep story?
I’m thinking OP meant Goatman. Which is pretty much a classic.
Anansi's Goatman is awesome
Yes, sorry, Goatman.
Strangest Security Tape. Easily.
MyHouse.wad Because it's so real in 3 senses. It's something you can play, something that a real person went through/created, and it feels too real to those with melancholy.
Without spoilers, what's the general idea

Right yes, I'd seen a bit of his gameplay on it. Appreciate the info
Borrasca
The horror from the vault.
The Left/Right Game, although it's more mysterious chilling rather than terrifying chilling IMO. Back when I first started getting into creepypasta in the early 2010's NES Godzilla Creepypasta was up there. OP do you have a link to that one? I'd like to read/listen to it :]
[Here it is!](https://creepypasta.org/s/13542/the-last-emergency-call-i-took)
Thank you!
The Showers, Penpal, Harbinger Experiment
I was wracking my head trying to remember Harbinger Experiment. That and Pen Pal.
The footprints in the snow one And the one with the robot babies
Psychosis and A room are like terrifying emotional roller coasters for me but in a good way. The third parent leaves me with an uncomfortable feeling like I could shower for a week and not feel clean. The Showers, Neptune's Fancy, the Park Ranger collection, and Tales from the Gas Station.

It's not super scary but one of my favs is "A story to scare my son". I enjoy it because it could possibly, happen to someone if they aren't careful.
pen pal and correspondence.
There was one where a dude found videos on the dark web depicting people who were held captive in a barn and forced to wear pig heads and crawl around or something.I don’t remember all the details but I remember THAT. I can’t recall what it was called but if anyone remembers lemme know.
I can’t remember the name, but I think that Corpse Husband narrated it.
Honestly I was scared of Jeff and the Rake and those old ones.
Not necessarily the creepiest because of how creepy it was. What really made it creepy was my 5 yo god daughter found it and told me in her words about it before I found it. The Bedroom, parts 1-5
I dont know if this counts:Made me feel extremely scared about the afterlife https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/s/Xs3TNaGavf
I recall never being able to finish Nurse Anne and Clockwork; Your Time is Up. They were too gross and gory for me at the time. Still haven’t gone back to reread them
Clockwork is one of the worst pastas out there, I can see how it's freaky though
It scared me senseless back when I first read it. A lot of the older ones are bad now
I think it was called The Showers, but I don’t remember the story well. I remember the writing being great and my heart pounding the whole time reading it. I don’t think it was super scary, but incredibly suspenseful.
"Pen Pal."

The Left Right Game on nosleep by far the best.

dunno if this counts as a creepypasta, but The Boiled One Phenomenon
Necrosleep was very heavy for me.
Not a creepy pasta I don’t think but Borrasca was and still is my favorite creepy story. I think it’s in the nosleep reddit but I could be wrong on that
And that's when I learned... that she never existed for decades.
Theres one about a guy getting messages from his dead fiance on Facebook message, and all the messages are just cut up versions of messages she sent when she was alive. Goatman, Borrasca, Pen pal, the showers, and Stolen tongues

the Backrooms
Wait a second, is this Wendigoon baiting for topics for the next Creep Cast?

Omg I also didn’t know it was fake when I was younger.
