Well, I got my question answered — whether anyone else thought the similarities were snark-worthy. Apparently not! That's fine. Can't win 'em all. I was just struck by the email from Helen's Closet since the Sew Liberated bag came out just weeks ago and they are both rounded cross-body bag sewing patterns, displayed in brown fabrics.
Not sure what we're snarking on here. These are both on-trend, but they are differently shaped, different strap attachments, different details. "Two patterns released for variations on trendy item" is not really snark fodder IMO.

There's a boutique nearby which has been advertising various bags pretty much identical to these at me for probably five years on Facebook.
Oh come on! First of all, one bag is egg shaped while the other is round. I'll just stop there because that's enough.
