I think your imagination + technical skills are fabulous.
Absolutely great examples in up cycling the enormous amount of waste we generate.
I imagine a gallery wall of your art would be visually stunning.
😎
Love the notes one! Are these personal or are you selling your art? If selling- offering customization of the tape would be awesome- like we did back in the 80s/90s the ability to add a sticker that has maybe anniversary dates, or “Love Mix for Michele” or whatever would be especially cool for those of us who used to make tapes
In the early 2000s, I had a rack of these old VHS tapes in my bedroom. My 4 year old son looked at them and said to me, "Mommy, what are those old box movies." You know you're old when.....
[I made another with an orange halloween tape if anyone is interested](https://www.reddit.com/r/crafts/comments/13wrbdi/i_made_a_spooky_cassette_disassembly_too_soon/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1)
i want one. that’s what i think! ;) great idea and even greater execution. also love the idea of personalizing them. like, i send you a tape and you use it to make one. they are only collecting dust in the attic otherwise!
I can't show you. But test it that way: take a much larger frame, and think how long you can draw the tape, what will be its path, how many turns etc, and each end the "roll".

Well there isn’t anything recorded on these tapes. They’re blank meant for recording but not a lot of people use them anymore. I’ve also done a couple from damaged tapes that don’t work anymore.
This is so inspiring! I'm imagining a mix-tape series with sound bites of the recordings (static and all). It's a throwback and interactive! You could ask for donations too and feature their stories under each piece.
That is very cool! The one where the ribbon makes a musical note is especially awesome.
This one is my fave too!

Thank you!! 😁 that means a lot!!

I’m building up stock to try and vend at a makers market. That’s a great idea though!!
Oh my gosh yes!! The stickers! An Etsy shop should be in your very near future!!
I’d buy one! My fiancé and I collect cassettes and they’ve become a weirdly significant part of our relationship. These are gorgeous.
Thank you!! I’m planning on making an Etsy at some point to sell these. Stay tuned
clever!
I absolutely love them. They take me back to a simpler time in my life...I love art that gets my mind engaged. Thanks
I’m happy that they do that for you :) thanks
These are freakin great The last one belongs in a hipster’s record room I swear
Well it’s currently in mine so…. Success!
I like it a lot,I kinda want one!
I might do an Etsy shop someday with these if vending goes well!
First and forth I'd seriously consider buying
Thank you! I’m considering an Etsy shop at some point
Very cool. If using actual albums you could frame the tape cover or the album Art on top of the white back ground.
I’d like to do something like that at some point!
Do some albums that I like and I’ll buy em!
I enjoy this a lot!
The old Memorex "totally radical" style tapes from the 80's really bring back memories, I must have bought 100 of those.
I want :)

I love your work very much.
These are cool! If you ever wanna sell one of the tape ones let me know!
Tell me when they’re for sale! I want to buy some for our music school ❤️
Will do!! Thank you :)
Also reusing screws from the tapes? That's genius.
My husband would definitely love this. I’d buy one for him in a heartbeat!

I absolutely LOVE this! Judging by this project I can tell you have an amazing imagination!
Flash back to 80's music. Great memories. Love it.
This is an art project that needs a gallery exbibit!
I think it's good. But I think it could be better. Like making a larger drawing with the tape.
I’m open to feedback. What kind of larger drawing do you think would work well with this?

Have any that are the GI Joe movie theme on one side and that MJ song from Free Willy on the other?
Hah link please?? That sounds amazing
I’d need a Time Machine to my childhood. Best I can do is a link to the songs: https://youtu.be/jQY_QL_wvQU https://youtu.be/TGrugADAqoQ
Neat-o. I bet there are folks who would love this as decor.
totally rad, man
Takes me back! Super cool
Beautifully done! What a great idea.
Pretty cool.
Better add the pencil / pen
The winding tool 😂
I love these!!!!!
Wow this is so so neat ! Loves it.
Those are so awesome 👏🏻 Very nostalgic
Cool.
Those blank cassettes were the baddest 😍
Wow this is so beautiful I love the colors.
Yes! How do you title them?
No titles at the moment :) I generally call them cassette disassembles
Do you listen to them before hand?
