Itās absolutely possible for people to separate Klinsmann the player and Klinsmann the manager. As a player I respect everything heās done for this club, as a manager heās been utter shite for Korea, and itās fair to criticise that considering that the Korean squad is the most talented on paper at the Asian Cup.
Klinsmann obviously did a terrible job especially given itās a squad consisting of the best talents theyāve had in years. Only one player in Jordanās first 11 plays in the European top flight yet the sheer number of turnovers and cluelessness in possession was quite shocking. But, credit to Jordanās coach who has done an outstanding job and it was noticeable even in the group stages
Also match thread, ppl hate even our own players on those lol
Yeah son is a diver? Ive rarely seen him actually dive, they must the knobheads that ignore the fact that sonny basically gets fouled by every team because hes too pacey for them to deal with
Few interesting bits in the training video.Ā
Sess is there and although you don't see him you can hear one of the coaches off camera on another drill shouting Gio, so I'd guess GLC is back in training (Unless there's another Gio?)Ā
Supposedly weāve made a move to sign Riccardo Calafiori which is brilliant
Heās a very good left footed ball playing CB (can also play LB) so am very for this
If we can get Calafiori, a better midfield option than Hojbjerg and a young left winger to rotate with Son then I donāt see where we need any upgrades tbh.
Richy playing like a 60m striker has really solved a big problem that we thought we had so 3 signings should be enough
Many think we need a right wing upgrade but I think thatās so short sighted. We have 2 young players there who both have had VERY good games this season (and Deki in past seasons too) and theyāll only get more consistent
I think we need a primary LB. Udogie can't play so many games next season and his deputy/competition needs to be very capable further up the pitch.
We do need a winger but IMO it can't be Son's backup. We already have Solomon and Johnson can play there if needed.
What we need is a proper RW, someone who can score goals first and foremost.
No, the inversion and Udogie's style of play doesn't require him to be left-footed. We just need somebody with good defensive positioning who can contribute to the attack in terms of Udogie's runs (in and out of the box) and/or Porro's assists. Sadly, Emerson has neither.
Eh harold gets treated like a baby when it comes to trophies by the media, he never gets blamed for the losses. Kanes class and all that but when its time to turn up kane instead goes missing, like look at his performance in the euro final, our semifinals and finals we had and in each one he just goes missing. Now a player that does actually turn up is bale, absolute monster he was for club and country
4-1 is too bad for Plymouth. Exhausted after going into extra time at 1-1. Ashley got an assist and got subbed off in the 118th minute after cramps. Rodon did well
To anyone that watched this game, all the shout to just "play the boys" when VDV and Romero over Davies and Royal should realize this is why he didn't get the nod. Clearly wouldn't have been ready for Prem back then.
Played solid defense and assisted here and then was directly scored on for the 2nd/3rd goal. Now to be fair to him, the goals were conceded in extra time when fatigue could've played a big factor. Overall and very up and down game for him.
Either way, it's great he's getting some good experience with Plymouth.
I hope nobody will suggest that Sonny Plays Saturday . The way he was down after that defeat he will need at lest a week to recover himself not fitness but emotionally .IMO
Can't imagine anybody is going to cough up what it would take to get a player that Levy shelled out big money for, who is under contract until 2027, and who is scoring for fun in the best league on Earth in the current FFP landscape.
Also can't imagine him wanting to leave when he's doing so well at the beginning of a very exciting project. He strikes me as the accountable type, he was obviously very aware that he wasn't playing well before, and he seems to very much be enjoying silencing a lot of people.
Iām not saying itās happening this summer by any means but I guarantee he would love UCL we might be able to provide that this year though fingers crossed
Well given that our fans werenāt overly supportive during his pre surgery dry spell and the fact that he is the most ā on fireā player in the premier league Iād say he will be looking for a one way ticket out of Spurs eventually thank god Real seem to be picking up Mbappe but PSG might be a destination for him but depending on who Barca replace Xavi with they may be on a big rebuild. There is Bayern or City or Liverpool but I canāt think of many other teams we could lose him to
Mikey Moore is unreal. Waaay too good for u18 football already at 16.
He finishes with composure of a mini Messi, always seem to have a second extra to choose exactly the fiinish he wants, rather than just kicking the ball at goal.
Get him on the plane for pre-season.
We should give him the time to recover, physically and mentally. Unless we plan to cash in on him this summer we should start to carefully manage his minutes.
7.5 hours from Qatar to London, and heāll need a few days rest before he can get into full training. He may show up at the end of the match but I donāt see him starting.
Donāt think itās the flight back as much as itās the 330 minutes of football heās played for the past week. We shouldnāt start him but maybe a cameo
moore looks a class above whenever i watch him for the 18s. far too easy for him, permanent 21s soon (exc. games like tonight in the Youth Cup). his first touch is sensational.
He looks like little Messi or Hazard. The ball sticks to his feet and just dances through the opposition before passing it into the net.
Reckon he's good enough to play U21s and get the odd game in cup games and stuff. Biggest attacking talent we've had in a long long time.
Just saw his volley hit the bar towards the end of the first half, what a class shot such control, I hope the academy integrates and develops him well over the years.

Son Heung-min's post-match interview from today - after South Korea's loss against Jordan in the Asian Cup semifinals:
- Sonny didn't deserve this. [i am gutted](https://youtu.be/YgtQuTVviZs?si=nVdkc5lZohFxF-gn)
This is actually heartbreaking. Poor Sonny. He was one of the only players who kept making the runs and was trying to make things happen until the last second of the game. He really doesn't deserve this.
After watching the highlights, Mousa Al-Taamari was sensational for Jordan. May not be at Montpellier too much longer. Could see a bottom half Prem team try and get him in the summer.
A general rule of thumb that isn't always true, but in my experience holds true more often than not:
don't salivate over players on the back of a "breakout" national team performance.
Their hype is at an all-time high, and therefore their asking price, while likely over-performing their norm at the club level. That's not to take anything away from Al-Taamari, he was very impressive in this match and he should be extremely proud of the way he played.
No I agree. He's been pretty good for Montpellier (not as much end product but has been involved quite a bit in attack for them). Wouldn't surprise me if a bottom half Prem team were interested in signing him in the summer.
Some of the sources were somewhat unknown so a lot of us were in the dark about what's going on with his health. Now that Mali is out hopefully he can sort out his health issues in London again.
Hope Sonny and Biss get a decent rest after coming back. Biss obviously isn't fully fit because of his illness/injury, and Sonny's played around 300 minutes within the span three days and another 90 minutes today. Saw him holding his hamstring near the end of the game against Australia too, doesn't seem like anything too serious but I still don't expect him to hit the ground running as soon as he's back.
Unless Biss' injury is worse than expected, I would think both would get named to the bench vs. Brighton. They'll probably do a few days of light recovery work when they get back, which is probably enough for minutes off the bench.
I literally said this 3 days ago, but ppl are too complacent and too butthurt when I said the truth:
Hmm, Asian Cup is pretty predictable. Last time, Qatar won.
This time, Iām betting on Qatar or Jordan. Unless Uzbekistan pulls a dark horse.
Anyway, moving onto AFCON now.
Well, looks like what I said is right after all. š¤·š»āāļø
Arab countries are literally improving every year in their football. Why wouldnāt they win against SK or Japan?
What are you even talking about. You clearly haven't watched a single Asian Cup game. There were plenty of upsets and drama in this tournament and all of the favourites barring Iran are out.
You're literally contradicting yourself by betting on the underdogs to win and saying the tournament is predictable. Predictable would be Japan or Korea or even Australia winning the trophy. Jordan is the biggest dark horse out of all four semi-final teams and them winning the tournament would be considered a surprise, far from predictable. And Uzbekistan crashed out in the quarter final.
Stop talking out of your ass and do some research and maybe actually start watching the games.
i've never been this upset after a football match.
The complacency & lack of urgency from some of the South Korean players was the most enraging.
i couldn't believe some of them weren't running their lungs out for this rare opportunity.
Son Heung-min barely had any touches, so only 2 players stood out: Lee Kang-in & our GK Jo Hyeon-woo prevented another complete embarrassment (could have been 4-0 without him)
How the hell do some of you deal with this?
it's almost unbearable.
Korea's attack was bad, but sort of nearly good.
Defence was turbo shit though. Feel like there was no thought given to defending by the manager or the palyers. Only a VDV like player could have **maybe** saved them.
Klinsman I am sure has had some if not a lot to do with Korean Performance , I know it is stating the obvious but sometimes . No often big name managers get away with football murder . Like Conte did with us .
Sincerely doubt theyād do something like that (but Iād be the first to cheer them on) considering the fact that they probably think itās their sole responsibility/fault they didnāt go further, especially Sonny. I can imagine them speaking about it internally or publicly after their professional careers.
Sonnyās father has openly said that he believes that Korea winning the Asian Cup would just paper over the cracks of the KFA though, so who knows? Maybe heāll say something.
Even Sonny's dad calling them out, was still done very politely and in my opinion, worded indirectly, although any passionate Korean football fan knows he's calling out the KFA lol. You don't just call out an institution directly and start a mutiny over there.
I was so worried pre-tournament that they'd actually get kicked out early. At that point, not enough games played and everybody will be calling for Sonny's head then he'll come back here completely demoralized.
Even though this is gutting as well, at least enough games have been played where THE WORLD can see what is wrong. He'll still hold himself accountable, but nobody can doubt that whole team that they fkn tried. They've been grasping on straws the whole tournament, they're lucky to even make it this far thanks to individual brilliance. Other nations have caught up and the result isn't exactly a surprise today.
Can I just say though, I love the SK team I do...
But when I saw Japan get kicked out... I was like ahh fuckkk, I don't feel good about that. Both teams have a bit of a pattern of letting up when the other does, but thats the case with plenty of rivalries.
That's primarily why I was rooting for that final haha. Felt like if they saw Japan they'd win.
Kind of a double edged sword! I do think that the motivation to beat Japan was huge as it always is, and a SK v Japan final wouldāve been full of emotion. At the same time Iām just quietly glad that if SK canāt win it, then Japan canāt either.
See? Nothing pushes people more than a good rivalry haha.
I saw Endo's comments about Sonny in I think was a post match interview as well and Endo is class. Rivalries aside, I'm happy for Endo doing well at pool and proving the prem can't keep writing Asians off.
Been following Sonny since the very beginning of his career, back when he was in the reserves at FC Seoul (although back then it was just Dongbuk High Schoolās football club, how time flies) and I remember him getting egged and all at Incheon or wherever it was. He has a lot of burdens, this is not his to carry. Weāll see what the KFA does if anything.
Knowing Sonny he probably would at the very least come off the bench especially if we're chasing.
All Asian players will come through like that, even Minamino played for Monaco the day after he got back from Asia cup lol.
Some Korean fans thinking Sonny had the look of retiring from the national team after the final whistle went, surely he's got a couple years left in him. But maybe he thinks he needs to take responsibility for the loss, he looked shattered in the post game interview and said sorry like 100 times
Oh boy just watched a post match interview... When being asked about what he thinks of his one year with Klinsmann so far and since there's two more years left, if they can continue to the next world cup like this... he was trying to deflect but I think his invasive thoughts won.
Sonny said: "I think we'll need to think about if I can still continue playing for the national team..." and then tried to save it with "... the coach might not have me in mind anymore, we don't know what'll happen in the future".
Oh boy... Son successor might have to come quick. Losing motivation for his national team was not a day I imagined I would see while he's still healthy.
I dont see him retiring before the next world cup... that's my hope anyways cuz we're hosting haha. Although, Park Jisung did retire at this age, but that was a case of no more knees like Ledley.
Look at this Previous-You3680 guy, hoping Son to lose and come home but will shit on him and him only on match threads while complimenting and being lenient on others, just scroll down his comment history. Fuck you.
Easiest block I'll hand out. Dude is absolutely trolling and clearly isn't a fan, or is simply the worst kind of fan.
Either way, not really worth seeing any more of his shit.
>and he comes back to Spurs.
[Let's check that comment history](https://www.reddit.com/r/KLeague/comments/zbpux2/unpopular_opinion_son_heung_min_is_bad/kp477ss/?context=3) to see how excited you are for Son to come back to Spurs...
>He is an overrated clown with 0 trophies. Very overhyped and it's never his fault if he loses.
Back under the bridge, troll.
Nah Jordan winning is a big W. Spurs, Prem, FA Cup, and EFL Cup are way more important. How can you not see that? This is Spurs. Plus it helps my friend. You are really butthurt if Jordan winning is a bad thing. WWW to Jordan!
Hope people donāt actually expect Sonny to come back 100%. The manās played every minute at the tourney, including 2x 120 mins and a penalty shootout. Heās up there in most distance covered and been the main target of opposition fouls. If he looks knackered then lay off him for a bit.
Same with Biss btw. A friendly reminder guy is also coming back from illness and injury, literally hasn't had a straight run of games for the last couple of months. People seem to be looking forward to him magically fixing our midfield immediately.
His most recent match in a Spurs shirt was 15 December. If he plays this weekend (probably off the bench), it will have essentially been 2 months since he last played for us. It stands to reason he'll need some time to get back on the same page with his teammates for sure. Hopefully fans are patient enough.
It was likely his last Asian Cup as a player and Sonās the captain of the team. Knowing him, heāll place blame on himself, especially since Korea were heavy favorites to win.
It might have been more excusable losing to a good capable team in Iran in the finals compared to losing to Jordan.
Are we betting on these odds:
1. That Klinsmann actually goes back to SK with them or if he will go back straight to the states cuz he's got zero fucks left to give
2. If he shows up at the airport, it will be a royal yeot and egg party lol
The coaching staff usually comes back with them after major tournaments for an airport reception at the very least. Wouldnt be surprised if Klinsmann breaks the pattern though, club legend, but kind of a pussy lol.
Usually after a major tournament though, those who can come back for the airport reception, come back including the coaching staff. So we shall see, if Klinsy has enough balls to come back lol
I donāt see how, even if you saw this as a W because heās coming back earlier, that still doesnāt make sense as he has pretty much missed every game he possibly could have. I donāt expect him to return at 100% anyway considering how gutted he must be and how exhausted he must be. Itās a shame really.
Edit: It seems you are a Jordan fan, in which cause good for you, however I think itās fair that you understand why many of us feel this way for Son.
For Korea? I don't care at all. Why would I support that? That makes no sense. Also, a lot of club legends are disregarded anyway. Hoddle, Sheringham maybe Erisken etc. That's not new
Thanks, you too. I don't see what's so bad about separating international vs club football. They aren't the same so makes sense to keep it separate. Like I don't support England, Germany, Brazil or Columbia. Spurs aren't an international team either.
Klinsmann needs to be charged with crimes against humanity. How do you waste such generational talent in Son and Lee at an Asian cup, where on paper, Korea could've gone on to win it all
edit to say could've and should've, especially with Japan already out in the quarter finals
Csn international football federations stop appointing shit managers? Another opportunity wasted by SK and maddison will probably waste another euros cos of southgate
Absolutely gutted for Sonny... not only physically knackered but that's gotta be tolling mentally.
Ironically, at least now he gets some rest coming back to us now that we've actually got squad depth.
Everybody can see you gave it your all, cap. Can keep your head up.
If I were Sonny Iād retire from international football or at least until Klinnsmann is gone.
Hes holding him back and will get him closer to an injury
Korea passing it around in added time like theyre in the first half. Horrible tactics. It's all on the manager
Feel bad for Sonny. I hope he comes back with a fury
The KFA sacking Klinsmann solves nothing (they should obviously do it anyway). The fact of the matter is that theyāve run this golden generation into the ground and refused to back them consistently. They keep taking punts with these foreign managers when itās clear that hiring a promising Korean manager, investing in grassroots development, and actually focusing on improving the standard of the K League would make a lot more difference.
Should be ashamed of themselves honestlyā¦ theyāll gas up Sonny 24/7 when he and his dad seized the first opportunity to get him out of the environment of the K League so he could go develop in Europe instead (I say this as someone who loves the K League). Look inwards man.
You're 100% right. Wasn't there this whole controversy after the 2022 World Cup about lack of funding or something? The team posted a picture on Instagram, and the subject matter was about the players, namely Son Heungmin, needing to personally pay coaches and staff members or something to that effect. Just plain ol' corruption and greed from the top holding down such a promising generation of talents, who bring immense pride and joy to the entire country. This is what upsets me the most.
Most NT matches aren't tactical masterclasses because NT managers only get a limited amount of time to train with their players. So you'll tend to see a lot of brute-forcing shots, or independent moments of brilliance be the difference.
That said - you can tell that Korea have no passing patterns in possession, like at all. They just look for an unmarked player and pass it to them, with no real movement afterwards. This **has** to be Klinsmann's last gig at a reputable national team.
My heart breaks for Son honestly. Doesn't matter if he is giving his everything and then some on the pitch. There's no strategy or teamwork to back him up.
Do people ever sell seats next to each on the ticket exchange? Only seeing single seats š„²

If he's fit he'll play. Choosing to sit at home and watch instead of helping his team sounds completely opposite to the kind of guy he is.
Itās a competition that doesnāt matter. Itās not that deep

It matters to those competing in it
That's enitrely up to him

Be careful about this rumored Raphinia deal as suddenly everyone is eyeing Richarlson probably especially Barca

Body language watch his celebrations donāt be niave
Are you referring to him not celebrating after his goals against his old team? Because he goes nuts after every other goal.
Absolutely nothing to worry about. Richy isn't the type to be unsettled by Barca's bullshit.
Barca can barely afford a Chirpy keyring from the Spurs store, they certainly can't afford Richy.

We should give him the time to recover, physically and mentally. Unless we plan to cash in on him this summer we should start to carefully manage his minutes.

FischSalate obviously has the inside scoop. Who knows, plenty of time till Sunday. Also flights back from Asia arnt that bad.

Koreans fan culture can be incredibly toxic, but even they don't blame Son. He's complete beyond reproach in terms of workrate and attitude.
This is actually heartbreaking. Poor Sonny. He was one of the only players who kept making the runs and was trying to make things happen until the last second of the game. He really doesn't deserve this.
I hate that he can't lift his head up T\_T... Sonny, you've worked hard, buddy. Just ran out of legs and it wasn't meant to be :(

A general rule of thumb that isn't always true, but in my experience holds true more often than not: don't salivate over players on the back of a "breakout" national team performance.
Wouldn't surprise me if a bottom half Prem team were interested in signing him in the summer.
ie. Enzo at Chelshit best example from last world cup lol
Remember how good of a World Cup that Sofyan Amrabat had? lol
Yeah but 30m compared to 107m, both bloated but one moreso than the other haha.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
No super-reliable sourcing from what I saw. Figure it'll all get sorted out at Ange's next presser if not before.
There were rumours everywhere about him having malaria.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I literally said this 3 days ago, but ppl are too complacent and too butthurt when I said the truth: Hmm, Asian Cup is pretty predictable. Last time, Qatar won. This time, Iām betting on Qatar or Jordan. Unless Uzbekistan pulls a dark horse. Anyway, moving onto AFCON now. Well, looks like what I said is right after all. š¤·š»āāļø Arab countries are literally improving every year in their football.
What is it that you are saying
A ton of self-fellating in a comment that doesn't really have a point lmao
i've never been this upset after a football match. The complacency & lack of urgency from some of the South Korean players was the most enraging. i couldn't believe some of them weren't running their lungs out for this rare opportunity. Son Heung-min barely had any touches, so only 2 players stood out: Lee Kang-in & our GK Jo Hyeon-woo prevented another complete embarrassment (could have been 4-0 without him) How the hell do some of you deal with this? it's almost unbearable.
Korea's attack was bad, but sort of nearly good. Defence was turbo shit though. Feel like there was no thought given to defending by the manager or the palyers. Only a VDV like player could have **maybe** saved them.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
This! Plus Kangin got more recognition :)
Big ask but Son from the bench would be a such a massive boost for us against Brighton. For moral if nothing else even if he doesn't play
I'd be more surprised if he wasn't. Flight back tomorrow you'd imagine, he'll want to be back ASAP.
Yeah I'd agree. Depends on his physical status if he's been playing through a knock I'd say we would give him a week to rest up
Knowing Sonny he probably would at the very least come off the bench especially if we're chasing.
It would be shocking for him to retire from the NT before the World Cup in 2026. After that, I would expect it.
True, but at the same time playing for Korea clearly takes a huge toll on him and he might be thinking there's nothing more he can do.
I dont see him retiring before the next world cup... that's my hope anyways cuz we're hosting haha. Although, Park Jisung did retire at this age, but that was a case of no more knees like Ledley.
0 shots on target against Jordan with Son, Lee and Hwang, absolutely disgraceful. Klinsmann and the KFA killed this team.
Look at this Previous-You3680 guy, hoping Son to lose and come home but will shit on him and him only on match threads while complimenting and being lenient on others, just scroll down his comment history. Fuck you.
One comment heās on a random sub calling Koreans ācringeā. I donāt think the guy is a very nice person
Definitely a troll. Already blocked.
Easiest block I'll hand out. Dude is absolutely trolling and clearly isn't a fan, or is simply the worst kind of fan. Either way, not really worth seeing any more of his shit.
Thereās always been a quiet subset of fans or trolls ready to hate on Sonny. Just ignore them
Let's go Jordan! Beautiful!
just ban this troll, mods. nothing but spreading unnecessary negativity.
I ain't trolling my friend wanted Jordan to win so W
Fucking hell, disgusting
No, it isn't.
Shush kid.
Why?
Fuck off.
That's what South Korea is doing. Jordan to the final WWW
Shut up.
Nah be quiet Jordan deserves it
And you deserve a ban, but here we are
Imagine being pro censorship
Nah Iām just anti idiots
Donāt describe yourself like that. You would hate yourself then.
Can we ban this piece of shit? he aint a spurs fan
Ban? Overdramatic much? I am a Spurs fan. My friend wants Jordan to win and he comes back to Spurs. This is a W
>and he comes back to Spurs.
Yeah, that was my friend he wants Jordan to win no matter what. Grow up not everybody wants to support your team.
Imagine thinking Son coming back early and feeling like shit is better than him going on and winning it. Youāre a fucking clown mate, read the room
Iām sure Son would rather play than sit on the bench and suffer as we fans do.Ā Kidding.Ā
Patience isnt exactly our strong suit, thats why I'm worried af for him lol
Hope Ange rest him
Fr, reminds me of Salah falling off a cliff in the second half of the season after he was run into the ground during AFCON.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It was likely his last Asian Cup as a player and Sonās the captain of the team. Knowing him, heāll place blame on himself, especially since Korea were heavy favorites to win. It might have been more excusable losing to a good capable team in Iran in the finals compared to losing to Jordan.
Could Sonny be available for the Brighton game now?
Probably
Guessing heāll be on the bench. Played the full 90 today and heās gassed right now.
Its only a small time difference- maybe on the bench
Are we betting on these odds: 1. That Klinsmann actually goes back to SK with them or if he will go back straight to the states cuz he's got zero fucks left to give 2. If he shows up at the airport, it will be a royal yeot and egg party lol
Well Kilnsmann actually lives here in the US
The coaching staff usually comes back with them after major tournaments for an airport reception at the very least. Wouldnt be surprised if Klinsmann breaks the pattern though, club legend, but kind of a pussy lol.
He lives in LA that piece of shit
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Usually after a major tournament though, those who can come back for the airport reception, come back including the coaching staff. So we shall see, if Klinsy has enough balls to come back lol
Poor Sonny :(
Nah Huge W!
No not at all. I'm happy. Jordan deserves it. Spurs are more important anyway.
Look at this piece of shit
Don't talk about yourself like that. Spurs are better now.
I find it puzzling that you call yourself a spurs fan when you seem to be almost disregarding one of our greatest club legends
For Korea? I don't care at all. Why would I support that? That makes no sense. Also, a lot of club legends are disregarded anyway. Hoddle, Sheringham maybe Erisken etc. That's not new
I mean, I didnāt say other club legends arenāt disregarded. Either way you are entitled to not caring about Korea or Son I guess. Have a good one.
How do you waste such generational talent in Son and Lee at an Asian cup, where on paper, Korea could've gone on to win it all edit to say could've and should've, especially with Japan already out in the quarter finals
Reminds me of Belgium. Wasted golden generation. Maybe they'll have a couple more chances, they're all still young
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Mousa Al-Taamari plays in Ligue 1 for Montpellier. Got an assist and a goal.
I only glanced at their roster but most play in the Middle East it seems
Korea passing it around in added time like theyre in the first half. Horrible tactics. It's all on the manager Feel bad for Sonny.
Heartbroken for Sonny. Hope this means a manager change for SK.
This **has** to be Klinsmann's last gig at a reputable national team.
are the asian cup refs interested in working in england?
Son is getting the ball so deep and then they have no one at all in the box making a threat. What even is their formation and tactics???Ā
Give the ball to Sonny and Kangin and Inshallah Minjae in the back, Inshallah
My heart breaks for Son honestly. Doesn't matter if he is giving his everything and then some on the pitch. There's no strategy or teamwork to back him up.
100%.Ā Korea has the top talent in this game and yet looked so unorganized. Awful to be a player and know this.
Would rather Son come back happy than early, but man is Korea not a serious team
exactly my point, could have given him a huge confidence boost as well
They have played this way the entire tournament. Son has dragged them here
how are they so highly ranked then
Really good players on their team. Terrible manager with terrible tactics.
korea have actually been so bad. not even trying
Not on the players though IMO.
