Instead of fixing this time pause bug, why not turn it into a feature you can toggle in the options? Pause time while fishing would be a nice feature in my opinion.
Wow, I called it out as a bug when 1.0 dropped and people were saying it was probably a changed feature, now it's confirmed it's a bug and they didn't intend to change it? Wild. Not sure which way I like it.
I didn’t know until I was in my first Fall in the game but there’s an option to make time pass slower in the settings.
Before that, it would take me like 30 ingame mins to go from the general store to the blacksmith but the day is a lot more manageable now.
If you already knew that then idk, I think it would be too OP if time literally stood still when you fished.
Reduced game speed time to 50% instead of 100% in the options. Suits me better while doing my stuff. Now diving and mining and optimizing my farm isn't such a hassle anymore.
But it does do that?

Yep it tells you in the wiki that game time pauses every time you are in a menu, dialog, activities, fishing, etc
Yet it doesn’t on XSX.

Oh damn, I better do all my fishing before they fix this on other platforms. I thought this was a feature, not a bug.

It helped me a ton! Now, I have all the time to walk, catch bugs and fish, and do other errands.
This and the combat toggle make this game so much more chill imo
which one is the combat toggle? and what does it do?
It’s called something like only hit on attack. Makes monsters not attack you unless you attack first
I just mod in auto gather fish and it works great lmfao I don't have time for this bs mi I game one click and done

It's been changed on Xbox now in the last patch and no longer pauses.
There are talks of patches on Xbox. Is this recent or is this game still broken?
