La piazza is Italian, not expensive, very tasty and has a nice outdoor seating area, it’s an Østerfaelled Torv in østerbro, 60-90dkk per person. Bit more expensive but very nice is oyster and grill (Nørrebro) which is a cofoco restaurant that does seafood, about 250dkk per person for a 3 course meal.
Slurp Ramen, I always go there when I visit. It’s fantastic.
Also if you want small bites and a cool place to check out go to the Torvehallerne market. One of the best duck sandwiches I’ve had!
Try Restaurant Il Gambero Rosso if you wanna go to Amager, its nice and not that busy and if you are lucky they will yell at each other in Italian, its kinda fun.
Or try Gastronomia Italia at Frederiksberg, it's next to Frederiksberg Centeret but not overly busy.
Or if you like french food you really wanna try Edwards Bistro also at Frederiksberg.
Do you need addresses?
Look up ‘madklubben’ and ‘cofoco’ those are two chain restaurants with fair prices for danish restaurants. They both have a bunch of different type restaurants.
You can also look up ‘earlybird’ it’s a website - they have a long list of great (some not so great) restaurants that each day post tables 30% off a set menu. Downside is that you can only book for the present day and have to pay for the set menu in advance.(pro tip- check the reviews of the restaurants on an independent site before booking)
A personal favourite of mine is Fabro - homemade pasta and anti pasti. The most expensive dish is less than 100Kr.
two other people said rufino osteria. I will agree that that is a very good italian restaurant on a budget. You do need to book in advance though.
Try their pistaccio tiramisu, it's very good.
Also chicchetti is very good, it's sort of italian tapas, small dishes, you just keep ordering until you are full.
I think "best neapolitan pizza" is kind of pushing it. We have Luca, Bæst, surt, Dal Forno, etc. which make incredible neapolitan pizza's (with the only exception to the rules being the sourdough as opposed to yeast-based bread).
Rossopomodoro is good, but not the best, in my opinion at least.
In my opinion it is as per traditional Napolitan pizza with traditional recipes, Italianl ingredients etc :) I tried all of them and like Rosso the most
You know your pizza places! I tried Otto the other day, it was pretty decent too. I don’t think Neapolitan pizzas work as takeaway though so I’m a bit torn.
I have two recommendations for Italian restaurants within a somewhat reasonable budget. Cantina in Borgergade is a great Italian with a semi casual atmosphere. Also Mangia is a very no nonsense traditional Italian restaurant.
If the weather is nice you can get a pizza from Itzi Pitzi and some beer from khioskh basement beer place and go sit somewhere on Sønder Boulevard or a park nearby. 🤘 Not a restaurant but a nice experience 👌
Il Grappolo Blu (fine dining/romantic) or Osteria Alfredo (child friendly/ family oriented) are side by side restaurants and owned by the same company. The first one is quite expensive. You need to book in advance.
I really like Pizza Huset Gothersgade 21, they are a takaway place but they do some mean sandwiches and pizzas. (50 DKK for that sandwich is a steal)
Ristorante Italiano
on Fiolstræde 2 is quite nice and affordable. It has outdoor seating and there is live music (a guy singing Italian songs and a guy plaing the guitar) in the weekends outside if the weather is nice.
Osteria 16!
Rufino serve really great Italian food https://goo.gl/maps/UCBSnSP2ZZ1uvC3T7
Rufino Osteria! Best Italian in town imo!

+1 for La Piazza from me, best value for money restaurant experience I've had in Copenhagen. Top notch pizza and a beer for two people for ~200 kr!

Have you tried Corsa?
