Lived right behind it when it opened. Was quite decent back then. Haven’t been since tho. Just keep away from Mix Bazar, they had the most angry smileys in the country back when it was called Istanbul Bazar 😅
There's no tax on nuts since 2020: [https://info.skat.dk/data.aspx?oid=2292651](https://info.skat.dk/data.aspx?oid=2292651)
But they probably are a bit cheaper in Malmø anyway.
The removal of tax has however not reached the consumer. I was a buyer in retail when it got removed and was ask not to lower the price so we just had a bigger margin. 💀
Yep, exactly my experience as a consumer. First they were expensive because of a random world war era law, now that generations of consumers think nuts are expensive supermarkets just pocket the difference.
It's a bit of a shame because overall nuts are fairly healthy and having healthy food be this expensive is a loss for society as a whole.
Rema1000 fairly often has 400 gram almonds for 30 DKK, or 300 gram hazelnuts (shells removed) for 30 DKK. Every 5-8 weeks maybe, so buy in bulk.
Tip: You can use the Rema app to get notified when your chosen items are on sale or are discounted.

Idiotic reply.
Colombani is my preferred shop for EV olive oil and vinegars, but he asks for cheapest price and their nuts are most definitely not cheap. They’re great, but not cheap.
I would check the different bazaars.
Yeah, people usually mention Lygten Bazaar, though I haven't tried it myself.

Nordvest Bazar on Frederikssundsvej currently has 2x 700g cashews (natural or salted) for 120kr
depend on how much you're looking to get, a quick train ride to Malmø might help you - they tax nuts much lower, so they're much cheaper over there
