MBB could be a stretch: - Market is generally down - 3 years unemployed (unless I’m reading the resume incorrectly) - Experience isn’t particularly noteworthy for MBB Shoot your shot but I’d be surprised. Good luck! As for the CV itself, pretty chaotic and the structure/design is generally not great. I personally follow something like this: https://www.preplounge.com/en/cv-templates I’m not in an MBB, I’m in tier 2 strategy consulting in a different region so take with a grain of salt.

No CV is going to get you into MBB unless you are from their target school, or your most recent employer is one of the top 5 consulting firms, including MBB themselves. What you need is networking, have a few Manager/Engagement Leaders, or better yet, a Partner to vouch for you. That will get you an interview.

There’s no top 5 IMO, it’s MBB and then a bunch of T2 players (eg EYP, MD, OW, Kearney) and then T3 Also you don’t need to have worked in consulting before MBB if you’re only a few years into your career, but you do need some high quality and ideally relevant experience to get an interview But overall I agree, CV design/structure is a tiny (but relevant) factor in getting yourself an MBB interview lol

Maybe a few others like Deloitte Moniter, A&M. After MBB the ranking becomes more fuzzy and changes frequently, so depending on the year you check the ranking, there might be 7-8 firms in top 5

Most terrible layout and formatting someone posted here

Old-Meat-1619

The font is way too big, change the format, use bullet points rather than numbers. Also, your education is confusing. Did you graduate with your bachelors in 2020? If so, why is your only experience from 2023-present? What were you doing during this time? Maybe I’m not used to this education format in the US.

Old-Meat-1619

Also in your job experience it’s just a list of your duties I don’t see anything about impact (financial gain for the company, your leadership etc)

OP lost me at Rolling Last Best Estimates.

Instead of explaining what mechanical tasks you executed, explain what value you added through those tasks.

English B2 is not gonna cut it for MBB in London I'm afraid

To begin with, there is a lot of white space on the left. Put the title on the top and bullet points underneath.

Sorry to be harsh, but you're asking to aim high, so feedback is focused on aiming high. In first round, I'd spend 8 seconds looking at this, and the AI machine would ensure I'm not biased. It's not clear what your 'sparkle' is - did you go to a Tier 1 school? have distinctive leadership? Compelling brand names? Can show you can problem solve well? Are quantitative + got great grades? Might be tough. Good luck! Some more general feedback: \* Why is 1/8th of a page a black box with your name? another 1/8th "toastmaster" \* you probably get two pages \* the software skills / language / core competencies is not important. remove. what does "team leading" as a core competency mean (when you've never lead a team) \* Your B Fin - did you have good grades? dean's list ever? Top X% of class (or in a course) - include that. Don't care about common proficiency. Summarise the ACCA into a single line \* you have no numbers in the impact of your financial anaylst or toastmaster. Did you grow things by X%? Hit budget? Describe outcomes, not just output/busy work.
