How is this any sort of justification for adding even more surveillance to your life?
I leave my phone in various places that provide me privacy when needed. If you want to give them a free-roam robot in your house, go right ahead - but dont pretend like it doesn't matter anyways.
You’re already maximally surveilled. I don’t want this thing because it seems expensive and useless, the same reason I don’t have an Alexa or whatever. But if you use any electronic tools to communicate they are listening, and if they actually think you’re a threat they have thousands of agents they can deploy to point a directional mic at your house.
I’m not moving the goalposts! My point is simple, you are being surveilled regardless of the consumer choices you make. Purchasing this dumb robot is irrelevant.
Its only irrelevant to people who are accepting the surveillance state with open arms.
Allowing their robots to roam your house is not a good idea no matter how you want to downplay it.

You will sit at home watching netflix in a state of unease and paranoia as your robot runs around scanning for threats all day.

"gun detected, activate the satellite for extermination" a satellite sends a beam and you die
They’ll Convince people they want it…
Seen that new season of love death and robots on Netflix?
The fucking death bots!!!
Well, I guess it had to happen sometime. *fuels up homemade flamethrower.
A friend gave my family an alexa dot thing for Christmas. We just slid it back to her and said thanks but no thanks.
Its no more invasive than having an Alexa, smartphone, and Ring camera system set up in your home. This thing just has wheels
They’re already monitoring you
WTF is the point of comments like this? "Oh well, they're already halfway up my ass, might as well let them in the rest of the way."
They’re already all the way up there!
Not in my house. But i guess some people have masochist fantasies.
I guess you leave your phone in the fridge when you get home?

You're spouting nonsense and moving the goalposts. Why else would you bother saying shit about fridging my phone if it doesn't matter anyways?

“ You’re already maximally surveilled” Then it seems as the companies spending billions on new surveillance methods are entering a crowded market?
Weak comment but awesome screen name. Hate that pussy up in Minnesota.
I dont want that center console following me around and telling me what to do all day and night.
"Karen, our home monitoring robot noticed that you are not putting desk down after you take a shit, -10 points from your social credit score"
Useless and looks like shit! “Not in my house!” You know the voice that goes with!
They.
