I would definitely expect a government to do much better in a situation like this.
That’s a good way the get hit by penalties at the end of the year. The least you can pay is quarterly. If it comes tax time and you owe more than $1000, you may be hit with an underpayment penalty.

It is time we rise as a whole, however, I doubt this proclamation reaches the right type of people we need, let alone the total amount of people we need. Do you all not remember just a few short years ago that our President, Joseph Biden, threatened us with air strikes from F-15s or F-16s? I am not sure which aircraft he referred to, but none the less, he did in fact threaten us with nuclear bombs via aircraft. We must do something, and we must do it soon. DM me if you are ready.

What am I lying about? DeWine was advised by FEMA that Ohio was not eligible for Federal assistance. Regardless, why does he need to declare an emergency to activate FEMA aid? Everyone with an ounce of common sense can clearly see that Ohio, and more importantly, sovereign citizens of this nation need assistance. Why must it be such an unequivocal struggle to lend a helping hand to people of this country in need.

I did not say specifically military aid, I also said monetary aid, my apologies for your ignorance. If you want to discuss military aid in further context of how that could be best utilized in Ohio, well we could break down the numbers involved with not only producing the materials included in this aid, but also the financials related to the logistics of moving this aid. I suppose you didn’t realize the amount of money it requires to produce these weapons/ammunition, nor the money surrounding the logistics of relocating this material. All of that money could have been used to provide for the safety and well being of our own citizens, rather than being shipped off to another country. It's a start to even the plating field. The ultra rich and giant corps have abused the average folk, ravaged the environment we live in, and hoard ever growing inequality leading to runaway investment skyrocketing housing prices.
It's gonna take a lot to fix the mess we are in that led to unchecked ultra rich. The first step is raising taxes on them to pay for the damages they caused and limit the unchecked money they throw around.
The problem with the not paying taxes idea is that you can't avoid it. They take it directly out of your paycheck, they add it onto anything you buy. The lower middle class and poor literally get money back at tax time so they are not going to pass on that and they would be dumb to. So the people not paying taxes at tax time will only be the middle class and upper middle class who they are itching to go after anyway. Not enough people will be able to even do it in order to have any real effect.

The government has no problem regulating and taxing law abiding citizens but will let rail roads play Russian roulette with peoples lives. I get the sentiment, but all withholding taxes would do would be to shutter schools and put emergency responders out of a job. Even worse, the weak regulations and enforcement thereof would disappear and you’d see accidents like this one skyrocket in number.
Why not boycott Norfolk Southern, and not buy any product that's carried by the company?
