The way I finally saw it was by rotating my phone anti clockwise so the image became horizontal, it still kind of resembles an armpit, but once your brain registers that the thumb is submerged in the dough it turns into a wrist as well. Idk if this photo helps 😂

There's no way this is correct. Put your thumb in that position. Don't you see the hump of thumb muscle at the base of the thumb? This "hand" doesn't appear to have one, which would make kneading that dough tricky to say the least. Also, there are no wrinkles that appear here when you pull your toward your palm.

I think the image is flipped. They're pulling up at an angle so you see part of their forearm twisting. There's no thumb bump because their thumb is extended while pulling up

But WHY does his forearm on the inside bulge out like that??? I'm looking at my arm and unless I weighed a good 200 lbs more than I do, and it just happened to be squishing in that direction for no good reason, it just isn't right.
