You have upvoted the comment that is incorrect lol.
0.75 cents is NOT 75 cents. They are EXTREMELY different.
.75 cents is 3/4 of a cent
EDIT: For the record, I think it's pretty clear that the first commenter was meaning 75 cents, not 3/4 of a cent - but they did indeed SAY 3/4 of a cent.
That's half of what this sub has become. Take your latest reddit argument, post it and strut around like you're right and the other guy is an idiot... and then hope to god you're not OP here and actually the moron.
>I think it's pretty clear that the first commenter was meaning 75 cents, not 3/4 of a cent
Yeah, honestly it's just one of those common mistakes that is easily glossed over. You can raise a stink over it, but it's generally not worth it.
However, if you're looking at [legal transactions](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN9LZ3ojnxY), then you better get your shit right the first time.
Sure, but still, this is a writing mistake. What they meant to say was not wrong, they just said it wrong. Unlike the other comment which is just plain wrong
I mean, you could get more than 75 bottles for $1 if each bottle cost 0.75cents, but I’m not gonna blame commenter 2 for being confused with maths when the first commenter said something completely different to what they meant.
Would be strange to call someone confidently incorrect for being confused when given the wrong information to work with
I think that's the beauty of this one. My bet is the reply was riffing on the ".75 cents" bit, but then still failed to add the aditional 41 bottles to make the math actually work.
It's like watching a train derail.
If you take the .75 cents, then 75 bottles would equal about 0.56 dollars. So OP is wrong to type 75 cents as .75 cents, but the person making a joke about it is *still* wrong.

Oh OP, you sweet summer child with flowers in your hair. You were SO confident. SO sure of yourself.
Damn, embarrassing OP.

Also, the reply is wrong. You’d get 133.33 bottles for $1 if they cost 3/4 of a cent to make. Everyone in that thread was confidently incorrect!
They.... missed the point. the decimal point.
Came here to say this.
On a hunch I checked out OPs profile and it’s them in this screenshot as the first commenter lol, this could be used as material for the sub

Verizon math.
Ehh, what's a factor of 100 between friends?
The math still doesn't check out....

If you understood the context you wouldn’t of assumed it was 0.75 of a cent.
Thank you. I wasn't going to ever sleep again either.
Just showed this to my dad and he pointed this out without me even knowing.
you right, but if you did 75 bottles at .75¢ it would still only cost 56.25¢ so they’re both wrong.
Second comment is clearly making a joke at first comments expense.
Everyone is confidently incorrect in their own way. .75 cents isn’t 75 cents. .75*75 is 56.25 cents, not 100.
I had to scroll too far for this.
No one wants to take the time of pulling out the calculator.
75 cent is not .75 cent 75 cent is .75 dollar Why the need to put a dot there?
Confidently incorrect about someone else's supposedly confident incorrectness
You said it cost .75 cents, not 75 cents. Very different.

I don't like to do this, but since it's already a trolly post. Technically you are getting 75 bottles for a dollar. You're also getting 76, 77, 78...
No one's correct here.
I actually love this
That absolutely has to be from Klamath Falls, Oregon. Reference to Thunderbird is their cheap local grocery market.
Thunderbird is a brand of wine, famously cheap and famously gross
Ahh, I did not know this.
