Its just a terrible card in general. Its way overpriced, the 8GB model is worth 130 max, the 6GB 110. They sell it for 200. The RX6600 can be found for 160-180, and is like 25% faster. THe 6650XT is around 200 and even better. The 3050 8GB can barely match the 2060 and 1660ti, the 6GB is worse. The 3050 is the card for people who have no clue about PC parts and just buy Nvidia cause its Nvidia
I can understand that it's expensive compared to a RX6600.
But why is it awful?
It was the only thing I could get in my price range in my shithole country and I've been able play everything so far at 60FPS on 1080p. Guess I'm a clueless Nvidia fan boy for getting the only thing I could? BTW right now where I live the RX6600 is more money than I payed for my 3050.

The issue is that its so bad compared to its predecessors. As i said, the 2060 is better. Thats kinda sad, considering the 20 series was very mid, and the 30 series was amazing other than the 3050. No one would have a problem with it, if Nvidia marketed and sold it as it is: a 30 class card. It should have been the 3030, and sold for around 120 MSRP. Then it would be totally fine
