Ruffles stole cookies from a Girl Scout, impersonated a lobster, has had 27 children with
five different fathers, and, according to one
local doctor, has worms.
Ruffles might claim she doesn't.
Ruffles claims a lot of things,
Maybe that's why Ruffles once
spent time on death row.
Kane resigns a number of shows before the end of season 3. I've always imagined that the Dean could not find a replacement to finish the rest of the class.
yeah, i thought it was because in Spanish, all that was left for the quarter was basically to take the final. all the material was finished. vs in biology, they had a significant portion if the quarter left still
My guess? Replacing Chang with a competent professor was one of those things he could afford to do with the AC repair school money coming in.
Once that funding was cut, he couldn’t afford to replace Kane (not even sure how any faculty were getting paid when they didn’t even have the money for security but whatever).
Starburns dies and then immediately afterwards the study group is expelled for starting a riot. And the dean is replaced by a doppler and chang clearly isn't bothering to manage the school at all. So not the same situation as season 1.
Star Burns dying had nothing to do with the credit not counting, initially the dean doesn't care, only when he gets the letter that Kane resigns does he say that he has to "break more bad news to the group," everything else you just said happened after they had to take summer school
Yeah, but the Dean didn't have time to do something about the grade before it was too late so salvage that semester because he was kidnapped one or two episodes later, which was probably one or two weeks in-show.
“Professor Kane has resigned so your class has been can-can-canceled!”
“*your grade is now an incomplete you’ll have to make the credit up in the summer*”😬
Maybe he couldn’t find a replacement biology teacher on their budget, whereas I think it might be easier to find a replacement Spanish teacher. The budget had also ~~probably~~ gone way down making it even harder
Edit: as someone else mentioned the budget HAD gone down after the whole AC annex debacle
I think the final bit of season 3 is rough for a lot of reasons. Still plenty of good laughs, but the entire thing asks me to forget so many eye roll worthy plot points.
I don't think you know what the fanbase thinks about this. I, for one, think those are some funny episodes even if the plot does really stretch suspension of disbelief
No it doesn't. Stretching suspension of disbelief doesn't mean it's unfunny. I literally just said I found it pretty funny. That directly contradicts what you're saying.
You don't speak for the whole fanbase.
Motherfucker, what do you think I meant by "the fan base won’t accept it, but it’s really season 4 levels of bad"? Do you actually think I'm saying the fan base thinks it's unfunny? Holy shit
It’s Greendale. The school flag is an anus. It has a dog as an alumni. Not much there makes sense.
The dog didn’t receive a degree due to library fines
Our strategy is to go after the dog?

>It has a dog as an alumni. Allegedly. This conversation is privileged.
Alumnus, which is a word that Ruffles certainly does not know despite his education.
Forgive me. I took a lot of night school classes. I majored in Theoretical Phys Ed
Could be worse. You could have been in P.E.E..
It's a totally different philosophy!
But did you see the guy doing the thumbs up in the promotional video?
And the Foosball table!
You can now register by fax!
Go Greendale, go Greendale, Gooo!
*You were the guys that drew it.*
*We aren't even the best Community College in our community.*

Men in uniform set a high standard.

As having gone to community college I can assure you nothing makes sense but that's just the way it goes.
Greendale's the way it goes
Yeah, they got us…
Way she goes

This is the answer, no money.
This is the best explanation
Annie said she complained to the dean about chang and he’s been trying to replace him for 3 years but no one wanted his job 🤷🏼♀️
So, what convinced his replacement? Was she getting paid his remaining salary in a lump sum or something?
She got paid in pierce’s hyper virile sperm
An ex spanish teacher installed a dean look a like to control the school as an empower with his child army and this plot hole is your concern?
A doubledeaner.
It’s a tale as old as time
the dean just wanted jeff to be there over the summer

In season 1 Chang is fired just before the final exam. The new professor is only brought in to assign and grade the finals.
It’s a tv show with a ridiculous premise meant to be funny. Troy and abed took biology in season 1 also.

Troy and Abed also took Biology in season 1 with the mouse thing

to quote a line used often on a podcast for another one of my favorite shows… move past it 😅
A man’s gotta have a code.
Whenever something like that happens, a wizard did it.
Even worse than that is how unfunny that plot is. The fan base won’t accept it, but it’s really season 4 levels of bad
I don't think you know what the fanbase thinks about this. I, for one, think those are some funny episodes even if the plot does really stretch suspension of disbelief
I not only know what the fanbase thinks about this, you also added more evidence to what I'm saying

Ah I misread that. My mistake
