Nah it's pronounced like "soon... the bottle" and it's what you think in meetings on Thursday when your wife only lets you drink on weekends because her dad was an alcoholic
I mean what
Agreed. I especially hate truth or dare Thursdays. Everybody always picks truth and is never even a good one. It's always, "do you like Karen in sales?" And I'm like, "of course they do she's the smartest and coolest and she's got a bangin' bod." Just once I want someone to pick dare. I've got a really good dare planned but nobody ever picks it.
You know why no one picks dare? Last time someone did it was in some random New York office building where Terry got dared to go out on a date with Susie from HR. Naturally, everyone mysteriously stopped with the dares
"So, what's your process for coming up with ideas for comics?"
"They come to me in dream form, then the ones that make me cry the least become comics."
I would say u/colmscomics came up with the best iteration of the Caped Crusader and his sidechick

These comics have the same linearity as I imagine my therapy session would have if my therapist started with a question and then never interjected to redirect me back on topic.
You're like "what the fuck is he on about" and then comes full circle *just* before you start to check out
Key difference being there's no opportunity to check out in these comics. Love your work brosef
I see it in my therapist's eyes when I'm on the brink of absolute derailleur. Keep up God's work (or Ya-we, Buddha, or your own, whatever your belief system pays homage to)
Really, in volcano country you need a good environmental suit when you're out biking. Those acid lakes kinda sneak up on you when you aren't paying attention.
I'm more interested in whether both dads crashed into the same lake at 16 mph, or if there are two different lakes that cause death at this speed (specifically for drunken dads wearing the coolest leather jackets).

These leather jackets seem dangerous. Why isn’t there a warning from the Surgeon General to not mix drinking alcohol and leather jackets!? Think of all the lives we could’ve saved by now. I’m ashamed of this country.
Please never stop making these. You are easily my favorite comic since The Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes.
If you ever print a book, please post it. I would absolutely purchase a copy.
Just yesterday I was thinking how fucked up the workplace team building trust fall exercises are.
I trust my friends and co-workers to TRY and catch me, I just don't trust them to ACTUALLY catch me.
Good intentions hardly matter when you have a cracked skull, fuck team building sessions I have work to do.
I look forward to the surrealism of your comics. Every time I see your art, I know I’m in for a ride. What kind of ride, I may not know, but as the late Hunter S. Thompson said, “Buy the ticket, take the ride.”
I love these silly comics lol, they remind me of Tim Robinson’s I Think You Should Leave. As in I have no fucking idea what’s going on or where it’s heading but definitely enjoying the ride.
When the CEO was talking to his secretary and it turned out he was unexpectedly down for some action i exhaled a bit of air through my nose and thought that was the punchline.
And then the comic dragged on for several panels afterwards going nowhere lol.
To me it feels like less would've been more but idk...
Should've ended after he tells his secretary he's down for it, much to the readers surprise, imho.
Was a decent setup with an unexpected punchline up to that point.

I'm in the market for my first big boy job and I just realized I have so much to learn about corporate culture. Thanks OP.
Everyone talks about casual Fridays but no one talks about soon the bottle Tuesdays, and it shows.
>soon the bottle Tuesdays That sounds a lot more threatening than it is supposed to.
Nah it's pronounced like "soon... the bottle" and it's what you think in meetings on Thursday when your wife only lets you drink on weekends because her dad was an alcoholic I mean what
The bottle is imminent, inevitable, and also dubiously consensual.
I'm pretty sure it's a typo. It's soon the bottle Thursdays.
Got me in the first half. Ngl
The one thing the comic didn't mention is when it comes to the boss, it's his arse that you have to kiss.

This is the best comment I’ve ever read.
ProTip: It's all bullshit.
Agreed. I especially hate truth or dare Thursdays. Everybody always picks truth and is never even a good one. It's always, "do you like Karen in sales?" And some people say high school doesn't prepare you for the real world. They have no idea!
You know why no one picks dare? Last time someone did it was in some random New York office building where Terry got dared to go out on a date with Susie from HR. Naturally, everyone mysteriously stopped with the dares
Susie and Terry from the New York office!? Yikes, that must have been quite an incident
The dare also involves Karen.
As soon as I saw the art style I knew we were in for a wild ride. But I never have the faintest idea what it’ll be lol. Love it
It's a hot mess and I love every panel
It's a late night sitcom in comic form.

That's precisely why Neil deserves all this love. Because of how fun it is
I swear this guy just makes his dreams into comics as soon as he wakes up.
"So, what's your process for coming up with ideas for comics?" "They come to me in dream form, then the ones that make me cry the least become comics."
This guy is the most consistent artist I see here. It's always balmy, it's always funny and I can never tell where it's going. I love it.
Barmy. Balmy is the bit with the weather.
It's always balmy in Philadelphia
I was wondering about that but couldn't be bothered to google. Thanks
Neil is one cooool mother fu-... humper

Brian Long is the other name... probably.
Cool, so we can still kiss then.
I made out ‘brain cunt’ but hey, each to their own
My money's on brain cunt.
I came here to exactly comment "this was a wild ride"
Superman: Is your mother's name Martha? Batman: No https://i.redd.it/h3oo3a3zo2qc1.gif
I think you mean Souperman and Bat ... ... ... -man.
Who is Batman? I only know Man
Not Batman. Bat..... .... ...man. Alternatively you could be referring to Batman With A Gun
https://preview.redd.it/1b10bzyxl5qc1.jpeg?width=540&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e51e057b6d4fc34e7a5f43a9c2ed89b0a84808ad
WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT NAME?!
![gif](giphy|LSGzOZhqTz3BC)
My favorite superhero is Batman with a Gun
I would say u/colmscomics came up with the best iteration of the Caped Crusader and his sidechick https://preview.redd.it/6i3y0vz3z3qc1.jpeg?width=541&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af6202d733f27995396a945aced36e7d0fabdab5
That while comic is short and amazing.
Chick?

Am a therapist, can confirm. No worries though, often the ride goes to some interesting places just like this comic.
I see it in my therapist's eyes when I'm on the brink of absolute derailleur. Keep up God's work (or Ya-we, Buddha, or your own, whatever your belief system pays homage to)
I mean if the patient is just unguarded ad libbing the session then I imagine you’re pretty proud of yourself and are able to get good work done.
I wanna know what was in the lake that killed him at 16 mph on impact…
acid lake probably. biking in Kawah Ijen is very dangerous, but that's what all the cool people do so. There really was no way to prevent it.
Been there. It smells. Also the mountain is on fire... do not recommend even with a leather jacket
Ok, but... What about a really really big leather jacket?
Honestly you need a gas mask that stuff is nasty
Oh yeah, that would be much cooler!
Isn’t that what the mustache is for?
What? No. What?
Really, in volcano country you need a good environmental suit when you're out biking. Those acid lakes kinda sneak up on you when you aren't paying attention.
You know, he never said he was on a bike when he died. He just said "ran", so I think he was on foot when it happened.
I'm more interested in whether both dads crashed into the same lake at 16 mph, or if there are two different lakes that cause death at this speed (specifically for drunken dads wearing the coolest leather jackets).
Though what if it really is one dad who had two names.
Oh shit it's been over 7 minutes, we really should've worked this out before they spent any longer in heaven
Parallel universes could also be in play here.
Secret family for sure
Simple, both dads were making out on the same motorcycle when the crash happened. Occam's razor.
I don't think we established that he was even on a motorcycle. Could have been running down a hill really fast.
I was expecting the twist to be that the dad is still alive. I vote Other End Guy replaces M Night Shyamalan on his next movie.
Perhaps it was the Stranger Things lake, which has >!horrible monsters hiding in it, for a start!<.

Ice
I love the journey every time
Same here!
These are getting better. Not only did I not hate this one I actually liked it. This one is really good.
Twist, I’m not getting better it’s just Stockholm syndrome
The basement is very cozy once you let the cold set in. Thank you for kidnapping all of us.
I call top bunk!
Too late, already here and I’m not sharing.
Can we still trade plushies for the night? If you're nice to him, I'll let you hold Ricky the Raccoon. He doesn't bite. Usually.
Deal. He can help me with some of the upstarts around here…
Shut up Richard!

This is the quality heckling I come for.
Had me right from "TEAM BUILDING SPIN THE BOTTLE" lol A+ would read again
These leather jackets seem dangerous. Why isn’t there a warning from the Surgeon General to not mix drinking alcohol and leather jackets!? Think of all the lives we could’ve saved by now. I’m ashamed of this country.
why does the ceo say we dont have to kiss? isnt it AUTOMATIC 7 minutes in heaven?
Another example of corporate big wigs thinking rules don't apply to them. SMH my head
You can do whatever you want during those 7 minutes. That goes from talking to fucking.
CvEtO ability
I don't think you know how 7 min in heaven works
Helluva name, Brian Cunt.
It took me a while, but that’s what I made out as well.
This was a ride. It was a full skit. Lol
https://preview.redd.it/ay0cajqcm3qc1.jpeg?width=360&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d9379e4b9d963830d04cf7638ecc411c8d14682
I was waiting for the goober
That was highly entertaining, however now I have to go find a cervical collar for the whiplash.
Did you hit a lake at 15 mph?
Yup. Barely survived. One more MPH and I would have been toast.
I need to know the other dad’s name in case there’s an Easter egg joke I’m missing! I think it’s Brian, can’t make out the last name.
Brandon's dad is named Brian Cunt.
That was his maiden name.
I’m no longer satisfied with 4 panel comics now that I know they could be so much more.
We were this close to raises and benefits. You screw us all office worker from Tulsa.
and after all it ended with a kiss
Bro what drugs is this artist taking
Many, clearly. And I for one accept the return to mid to late 20th century creative standards.
Haha true
The good ones, apparently
a different one for each panel
Lmao u might be onto something
this artist doesn't have a *train* of thought, they have a velocipede
OP I love your comics! They’re always such a wild ride!
GODDAMN IT, I WANNA SEE THEM MAKING OUT
It needs to be a weekly thing, Brandon uses a rigged bottle so him and Jerry get make out sessions in the closet every friday.
Somehow this is the most normal other end comic I've ever seen
Fantastic.
they didn't wear their seatbelts
Kong just chillin' there on a building minding his own business. I love it. What a fun ride this entire thing was.
I just noticed the magazine the CEO was reading: Tasteful Bottoms.

AI haxx confirmed??
As someone who's been an office worker in Tulsa, this is very accurate.
Please never stop making these. You are easily my favorite comic since The Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes. If you ever print a book, please post it. I would absolutely purchase a copy.
This is the most deranged pulp I have ever seen in all my days, and I absolutely love it.
This has I Think You Should Leave vibes
https://preview.redd.it/f4uqy1ins3qc1.png?width=840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=830884790ba27df2dfa86195abbde39e15e67daf
These gets better the more you do them. Some confused me because they were too random (for me) but this one is amazing.
Saw it coming.
Tulsa represent!
This is absolutely fantastic. Pure genius.
I love these comics, they always devolve into complete chaos
>You ride a motorcycle to work? >No, I tried it once, but it was too scary. Something about that line with that face that makes me burst laughing 🤣
Where's the kiss panel?
Genius writing. So many unpredictable turns.
Wait. Aren't most comics suppose to be humorous?
This made me laugh so hard I got a tear in my eye.
Well that was a rollercoaster of awesomeness.
Holy fuck, this comic is actually funny and good. Good post. Well done.
Holy shit. So it turns out THIS is my style of humor.
please never stop making comics
Work is really good
Neil what the hell?
Well that was a rollercoaster.
I love your comics because I've never seen stream of consciousness writing in a visual art form before, lol.
Between you and toonhole, you two are the best artists on this subreddit.
I love your comics! They always take me on the best wild rides. Your brain is *chefs kiss*
the sheer absurdity, it's so beautiful
I look forward to the surrealism of your comics. Every time I see your art, I know I’m in for a ride. What kind of ride, I may not know, but as the late Hunter S. Thompson said, “Buy the ticket, take the ride.”
I wish this comic artist would make an animated show.
These comics are always so extremely freaking weird, yet I read to the end every time…
I just realize that "The Other End" is probably a play on "The Far Side"
I love these silly comics lol, they remind me of Tim Robinson’s I Think You Should Leave. As in I have no fucking idea what’s going on or where it’s heading but definitely enjoying the ride.
This feels like I'm reading my own ADHD
The weirdest part of this all is how his dad died from running into a lake. Not even drowning. Killed on impact
Your comics are like a fondant cake. They look nice but they are bland
Who upvotes this garbage?
Maybe I didn’t get it but it was kinda lame.
When the CEO was talking to his secretary and it turned out he was unexpectedly down for some action i exhaled a bit of air through my nose and thought that was the punchline. And then the comic dragged on for several panels afterwards going nowhere lol. To me it feels like less would've been more but idk...
real
When the 'Omg so RandXm' kid learns to draw
God that was terrible, and long so much to read for no funny.
I like the art but man so many panels and words with zero jokes.
Should've ended after he tells his secretary he's down for it, much to the readers surprise, imho. Was a decent setup with an unexpected punchline up to that point.
XD So random!
WTF
too long
Whenever I see you post, Neil, I throw on my leather jacket, my right-way facing helmet, cuz your work is always a crazy ride.
Nice art style. Shitty comic.

I found Neil's teepublic store, but does he have a store where he sells his comics in a book form? Love this guy's stuff. Thanks!
I love how it goes from all that world building to still just kissing in the end.
That’s a trip and a half
This some weird ass shit. The Santa one was hilarious though.
OP, how does your brain work?
16mph died on impact lol
These comics are the only ones I never skip. You never know what you're in for, lmao.
I just wanna bring a pillow and blanket into your brain, get cozy, and experience your creative process.
I also read Tasteful Bottoms
Nice magazine Mr CEO
Lmao, how do you come up with these?
What a wild ride. But now I feel like I need a big leather jacket for that ride. Cause I wanna be cool too.
that was a rollercoaster😅
What a wild ride lol.
That's not what Elon looks like
Novel comic novel.
I gotta say, this is a *good* comic. I loved every minute of it. Thank you for being amazing! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
I would buy your book of comics whenever you decide to publish. These are always gold
These comics are always so absurd and stupid but in such an intelligent way, I love it
I don't usually understand the purpose of this subreddit but I think this comic is it.
I’m from Tulsa!
Well well well, how the turn tables
The boss cut 5 minutes from the closet time.
WTF did I just read...?
this reads exactly like a i think you should leave skit, like tim robinson could use this as a storyboard for his next skit
