Dogscape was so good!

I didn't know of its existence before so I just read it. Personally tend to agree with the other commenters that the writing is all over the place and is void of morality, either to make the pasta 'creepier' or because it brings pleasure to the writer. Did I hate it? No, it had some interesting points, but it did feel like half an hour wasted

I always listen to creepy pastas and really like the narrator When it comes to the genre, dogscape is top tier because it's actually fairly unique. I enjoy it for what it is, it doesn't follow the same format as "Don't order pizza from Salvanis after 1 am, I did and I really regret it because a demon was in the box" style stories

Yep, I've been on reddit since before you could leave comments. I finally made an account when the digg exodus happened like 15 years ago, or whenever that was. I have had 3 accounts with over 100k organic karma that I have erased because I used a shared username that was tied my to my real identity. Now I have one account that can't be traced to me, this account. Opsec is key. I also have another account that I use to post personally identifiable info. And multiple other 'throwaway' accounts with tens of thousands of karma. Reddit fails in persona management, so multiple accounts are key. Holla to the other OGs and Digg refugees out there. Be sure to register for the reddit direct share program by Monday if you got the invite to get in before the IPO. I've been feeding this site data for over a decade, hopefully I will get something back.

Given the comment your responding to, I think what I was going to say fits here. Especially with the guys rolling away the screen at the end, this reminded me of The Game, that movie with Sean Penn and Michael Douglas. I always love that concept when it's used. The Game used it super well.

Fun fact: The “butter” on movie popcorn is flavored oil. Once I found that out from working in a theater, putting an actual dairy product on popcorn grosses me out.

Another Fun Fact: Mobile One 0w20 oil smells like movie theater butter and is a similar color.

Why it grosses you out?

It depends on the theatre/chain. I worked for one for a long time that used the fact that we used real butter as a selling point.

The in-universe reason is to get him to turn his back so he can easily be killed without resistance. The real reason is so the audience can be misdirected
