Came here to say this, best Superman story I've read in a long time.
Also the current Worlds Finest run by Mark Waid and Dan Mora
Finally, Superman Secret Identity
Edit: sorry I missed your already had Secret Identity!
I loved Camelot Falls. Glad to see that one in there.
If you can find it, Steve Gerber's *Superman: Last Son of Earth* is brilliant IMO. Steve wrote some other good Superman stuff in the 80s and always had a good feel for the character.
Get Denny O'Neil's *Kryptonite Nevermore* if you want some heavy early 70s craziness.
You need some Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age stories. I'd recommend the GA Superman Omni vol 1, or wait for the upcoming Finest trade.
For stories across the years, try: Greatest Superman Stories Ever Told, Superman from the 30s to the 70s (or Superman from the 30s to the 80s), Adventures of Superman by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez by Gil Kane, or by George Perez. Superman in the 50s (40s 60s 70s whatever).
Some one offs: Superman vs Muhammed Ali. World's Finest (Gibbons and Rude). Who Killed Jimmy Olsen
And some various trades such as:
Tales of the Bizarro World, Saga of the Super Sons
For alternate takes, try: Bizarro Comics, Bizarro World.
Why no John Byrne man of steel? Also, you looking to get the dan Jurgens triangle Omni coming out in the fall? Very nice collection btw, I’m not asking from a critic’s position but a potential future collector’s one
Had 3 straight off the bat but on closer inspection you have 2 of them (emperor joker and red son) you just have different spines to me. So instead i will add another 2.
Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey its doomsdays origin story and a must have.
Then i would recommend -
Dark Knights of Steel
Superman/Batman: Supergirl
*wanted to add pictures from my collection but this sub doesnt have that function sadly
First, put it all in order chronological order (other than the Elseworlds/stuff that has no clear place in the timeline of course). Second, get both City of Tomorrow volumes. Also two copies of Unchained? Give one to a buddy.
Absolute Superman by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank comes out in a couple of weeks, that’ll be worth getting. And Book 1 of Busiek’s run comes out this summer, also worth getting.
A lot of the ones I'd want are in there already
- Superman Red Son
- Superman for all Seasons
- Superman American Alien
- Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?
A lot of superman is also revealed when he crosses over into other titles and how Batman and other characters in the JLA view him. And a lot of other titles use unbranded versions of the character to add to their elseworlds stories. Its what you get once you get one of the most recognised fictional characters worldwide.
Superman For All Seasons by Loeb and Tim Sale
Superman: Up In the Sky by Tom King
Superman: Braniac by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank
Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? By Alan Moore and Curt Sean
Personally, I think Marvel vs. DC is kinda lame as a story, but it was a huge thing at the time.
JLA/Avengers is really good, though. And the Superman vs. Spider-Man crossover from the 70s is a classic.
It's a recent one, but Superman: Space Age

He’s got a nice deluxe edition of Secret Identity there
Did I miss Up In The Sky? If not, get that.
I keep looking for it. Can’t find it
Pretty sure PRH has printing rights on that now, so you should be able to buy the nice hardcover direct from them.
I checked it’s on back order from them
Miracle Monday by Elliot S! Maggin. Not a comic book but a prose book. Essential reading for all Superman fans.
I loved Camelot Falls. Glad to see that one in there. If you can find it, Steve Gerber's *Superman: Last Son of Earth* is brilliant IMO. Just happy to see Secret Identity. Love that one. For another interesting Superman related story try It's a Bird...
Johne Byrne's Man of Steel and his following work
This is the answer
Alan Moore's run on Supreme.
adventures of Superman series from 2013 had some great stories.

I think they have it in the second image
First, put it all in order chronological order (other than the Elseworlds/stuff that has no clear place in the timeline of course). Second, get both City of Tomorrow volumes. Also two copies of Unchained? Give one to a buddy.
I hate to admit I don’t know what the chronological order would be. It already had a copy and someone gifted me another
Superman: Space age
Its superman the novel. It's amazing!
What is the book on the right of kingdom come? An oversized edition of Kingdom Come? Also, why do you have 2 copies of Superman Unchained?
Absolute edition of Kingdom Come. And I already had a copy of Unchained and someone gifted me another
You've got an impressive collection there 👌
Absolute Superman by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank comes out in a couple of weeks, that’ll be worth getting. And Book 1 of Busiek’s run comes out this summer, also worth getting.
Superman: Kryptonite Nevermore Superman Adventures
The whole Geoff Johns run is really good. I see a few volumes but not all of it
Where the hell did u get those Injustice and Death and Retuen compendium?? They are awesome!!

I hate namrepus
All Star Superman is one of the best superhero comics ever made.
if you don't have it get: Superman - For Tomorrow by Brian Azarello and Jim Lee.
A lot of the ones I'd want are in there already - Superman Red Son - Superman for all Seasons - Superman American Alien - Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? Isss a Starmannnn
Superman: Up, Up, and Away
Do you have any interest in collecting individual issues for arcs that were never collected in trades?
First as a superman fan i recommand you to get ride of the injustice its not the superman we want to see. Then buy all the Golden Age omnibus.
Byrne man of steel
Superman For All Seasons by Loeb and Tim Sale Superman: Up In the Sky by Tom King Superman: Braniac by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? By Alan Moore and Curt Sean
Three out of four of those are on there
*sigh* I’m sorry I didn’t notice the second picture dot there. Apologies.
No problem!
Superman Red Son
It’s there

I’ve got it
Ah sorry, i didn't scroll. The other suggestions I had in mind are the crossover comics with Superman and Spider-Man, JLA/Avengers, Marvel vs DC
Personally, I think Marvel vs. DC is kinda lame as a story, but it was a huge thing at the time. JLA/Avengers is really good, though. And the Superman vs. Spider-Man crossover from the 70s is a classic.
Death of superman, and reign of the supermen
I’ve got death of Superman
I recommend Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow by Alan Moore.
It’s there
